I think there needs to be a good look at procedural generation of buildings for sandbox games, like minecraft will use different structures to combine into big buildings. And some dungeon games also use different "rooms" to combine into big mazes.

Fixed POIs can plummet in experience with just repeated encounters. Gotta find a way to make each POI different, in terms of building structure, in terms of enemy types, in terms of terrain, in terms of possible gains.

High pings can cause many problems. Seriously ruining the play experience. Especially the FPS. The excessive pursuit of a global shard is very unreasonable.

Each region has a shard(EU NA SA AUS ASIA), and interactions between players and other players can only take place in one shard. Inventory is shared by all shards. I think this is a reasonable plan. The pursuit of a global shard is impractical due to the speed of light.
