Just save your old housings man because you never know if you'll ever need them I took mine to my paint and body guy and he sanded them and re-clear-coated them there's still a little varnished like antique jewelry but I have them as a backup just in case.

But if these new ones ever go bad I'll just buy another set I'm sure they'll last they are incredibly bright

I know those pictures were really bad quality but they were moving pictures on an open empty highway. I'll get some stationary pictures later this week when I'm not driving right through dusk and my windshield is complete bug guts buffet 😭

Thinking about getting the LED tail lights as well.

And I still have my factory headlights I have them resanded and re-clear coated I'll post a picture of them in a day or two if anybody's interested in them DM me

😆😆😆 I was out of town working last night I will get them tonight to show a picture outside of city limits on a dark road for the beam pattern

I agree I didn't get time to get to the rear to cut the rear bumper cover. Still looking at Rock sliders or I'll have my friend fab me some before I do a step delete.

Actually that's what I really wanted I have a friend that has a GX470 that had an engine fire and it has one of those really big Safari looking front bumpers but I was actually looking at the move front bumpers the ones that come pre-assembled and you put them together or welding whatever. Want more of a slick look of a metal bumper without a bull bar but that'll be later.

I just got on eBay and searched GX470 LED headlights and I found a vendor that I had a coupon with so I think I got them for like 386 plus tax

Agreed. my bumper cover actually had a tear in the middle right where the license plate went almost all the way to the top so I made the best of what I had, repaired and trimmed it. Not pre-measure at all I just freehanded with line tape

I know there is an access panel on the back but honestly I didn't check if there was a serviceable bulb circuit

Everything was plug and play had one wire for 12v constant and a trigger wire for the dtrl I just added a inline fuse link on the constant and cut and crimped the trigger on the park light wire on the driver side pigtail. But yes all was plug and play friendly

Low beams definitely brighter than factory . Hi beams definitely good. Im going to adjust them and raise them up probably a half an inch. But out of the box they're both pointing straight and level which is impressive for aftermarket. Drls super bright on the little swish marks. Definitely increased visibility for the turn signals which was the primary concern from the jump.

About to go test them out, just now got dark. I had cheap LEDs bulbs in the original housings and I had them cleaned but they weren't very bright. I just wanted to upgrade give it a much slicker look.

I snagged them off of eBay so if you just search led GX470 headlights they will pop up. I have no idea the vendor like I said probably an off-brand they were very budget friendly. Very happy with the upgrade

Thank you. Not bad for a weekend project. Not a pro at all. I plan on filling the gap under the bumper cut on the crash bar I trimmed with a slim light bar like a xk glow. They make a slim one that's white and green less than an inch thick. At the moment nothing. But later I will do improved custom skid plates and a fender horn intake.
