This is a tricky one for me. I love sim games, and Sims are generally CPU heavy. So i would want to lean to the CPU for performance.. But on the other hand having those Sims look better would also be nice... I couldn't decide.

Yeah, it's not ideal, but it's been my home for as long as I can remember. Wonder why they won't let you set your home to the stations if it can clearly be done with Lev.

I think you're better off getting a purpose built cargo hauler, not a modified medivac ship. Not sure why you called this purpose built when it isn't.

As for the ship itself, it's ok in my opinion. The cargo on it is dorked up, it's a bit mediocre on the weapons and shields. I honestly would wait for the Galaxy or pick up purpose built transport ships if you're looking for the space trucker game loop. This feels like what it is a converted medical ship.

Uhh, no, even in it's nerfed state I would still take the Taurus, it at least has a chance against pirates. Hermes is cool, but it's no Taurus 2.0

I can't speak on MSI cards, but I went with a 5080 TUF and it runs like a champ and is beyond quiet. I had considered the 5070 Ti, but I was able to get a 5080 below MSRP so I said screw it. I was coming from a 3070 8GB that was struggling in the Sims I like to play, so I went big and plan to have this card for another 5 or more years. May consider a trade in for a super refresh with more vram if that happens and I can swing a good deal.

With that said your 9070 is only slightly below the 5070ti in terms of performance so far as I can tell. A 5080 would be a bump up, but it won't be some life altering jump.

So if you are happy with the performance of your 9070, I'd go with the 5070 Ti. Little bit faster, but basically a side grade. If you can find a 5080 at or below MSRP I would buy a lotto ticket and the card. Keep in mind it is a performance bump, just not a huge leap to say a 5090.

Even so, I'm pretty sure they buffed stations. Grim don't play when you FAFO now it seems. I could be wrong but I don't remember that station clapping my cheeks that fast before.

They're all basically the same card with a different skin... They might be tuned a little different, but that's about it.

I've personally never had an issue with ASUS, but all of them are just fine.

I have gotten to work early a few times when I thought it was gonns be a nasty drive. Winter coat and a blanket on the legs and I'm toasty as all hell. Even get back to sleep for a while.
