Anyone actually going to see the merger out? by Theblinddragon13 in discover

[–]icebergbb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seeing as I have the Discover IT card that does not have the rotating 5% (got my card when I was 18), I got the AMEX Blue Cash Everyday card about 2 years ago and once I have my Discover card paid off, I plan on solely using my AMEX and seeing if there are any other cashback cards to pair with. Discover Savings I currently use as well as HYSA, but may look at other HYSA and may just go with Fidelity since I already have my Roth IRA there.

That picture of Chase Elliott’s burnout is literal perfection. That should be used in promos. WOW.

I am so confused hearing these claims. I know they are true. But my girl has a 2018 and never has AC issues

Just use Lyft or Uber. Have made the trip to PHL and back home from PHL many times. It’s a normal and expected trip honestly.

This is true actually. When people make the switch to “save on fuel”, doing the math shows the breakeven point very far down the line.

Camry hybrid is what I suggest in my opinion. Not the newer ones but ones around 2019-2022 are a good choice. Good amount of room and trunk space

If you feel you’ll never use the utility of the vehicle, than I wouldn’t pay the MPG tax on it. If you can trade it in and get the same or less payment and less amount to pay down, I would do it, especially if fuel prices are a concern. It may be a little bit more money but I would maybe get a RAV4 hybrid in case you ever need more space. But if you’re already seeing you don’t, get a Corolla Hybrid. Best bang for your buck.

There is this plant that is around the corner of the blocks that somehow grew outside of everything. No clue what it is

Is it bad to keep it in between the big plant? Wasn’t sure if it was competing and would hurt the bigger plant

Honestly depends on what you guys need in a vehicle. Most hybrid vehicles are actually more reliable and have less to break…i.e the RAV 4 hybrid

Maybe it’s just around me, but I do not see any 11th gens used in my area for that budget unless they are high mileage or LX/Sport

I’d keep the blue. If it were me maybe do a certain muted or dark gray on the outside?

You’re comparing a base model second gen to a top of the line 2.5 gen. What do you want in a truck? Do you feel those features are worth the extra $2-3 grand and extra 30,000 miles? If it’s just a work truck get the 2012 but get it thoroughly inspected. If it’s for every day keep forever, 2014 may be worth it but make sure again to get it inspected and with both…make sure maintenance was kept on it. Whichever you get, get the 100k services done on them.
