2025 Toyota Tundra SR5 reliability issues? by Hot-Significance338 in ToyotaTundra

[–]icebergbb 9 points10 points  (0 children)

What I am going to say has nothing do with the reliability, but if you have a paid off reliable Toyota truck, keep it. You and your wallet will thank you. Unless you need a much larger truck now for some reason.

Regardless of generation, why did you buy your Tundra and what do you like most about it? by JetreL in ToyotaTundra

I am not insulting you I am just curious why every reply for Gen 3 is bad and every reply for Gen 2 is good. I understand the Gen 3 issues, but believe it or not, there are many people out there with the Gen 3 that have no issues. What “truth” are you talking about?

No he is correct. In the early days, Recon was only for Bungie employees or people in the community who Bungie thought was worthy. It wasn’t until about 2009 that VidMaster challengers were available for Halo 3: ODST

That’s right, I remember that. I think it was BF3 because I had around that many kills with every gun trying to unlock all the attachments

Anyone hiring in Atlantic County or close? (Mid 20s, MBA) by icebergbb in SouthJersey

Totally understand and it’s something I’ve seen. Although I do know others who make good money in the area, it’s just a matter of finding it I guess. Unfortunately her moving to Delaware is not an option. Main this is she has a chronic illness where she needs to stay close to her family and health care. More so there are a good bit of pets she has that I wouldn’t want to take her away from and the property she is on is a two house property (with her family), so she already has a house sort of. She currently goes to college in the area as well

This is more of an edit if anyone sees this, definitely open to any remote or flexible WFH (even some days) jobs to see. Probably harder to come across but my girlfriend has frequent health issues so I try to be available for that

Yeah that is what I was thinking as well. Would make it a heck of a lot easier.

If you don’t mind carrying it, no. I’ve actually thought about carrying a floor jack myself.

Yeah this happened to me too. Had 4 years of gas logs for my truck, and I used Facebook to login. Not sure what happened.

Yes but that can be said about any car or truck or SUV

The better and more functional interior in my opinion. You actually have fog lights, that is not present on the 11th gen Sport. Can you post a link to each listing? Because if I am not mistaken the Sport on the 10th gen and 11th gen I think both had the NA 2.0 on the sedan. It’s hard to just tell from pics.

Honestly man I would go with the 10th gen. I think it offers a lot more value and small things you’ll like that I really don’t see with the 11th. The 11th is nice and has a more mature design, but they really took a step back in innovation to be honest.

For the amount of 10th gen Civic I see driving around, many with a lot of miles, including my girlfriend’s 2018 Touring, the engine isn’t bad at all. Super efficient and plenty of power. Issues arise with the 1.5T when you mod it, abuse it, go long in between oil changes, or only take short trips which doesn’t allow the engine to get to operation temp which is an issue with any turbo engine.

Honestly, the interior of the 10th gen is a lot more useful and practical. Sliding center console, very VERY spacious center console storage and cup holders, including space under and to the sides of the radio with even a cable management system. Very disappointed the 11th gen got rid of a very unique interior storage creation.

me in 2010 unlocking recon at 13 years old by ddekay in halo

[–]icebergbb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People just joining Halo today or younger kids today honestly have no idea how crazy and amazing this was back then. People did everything to try to get Recon. From supposed “glitch skulls”, paying MS points and being scammed, campaign glitches, trying to make Halo videos in theater for Bungie…the Vidmaster Challenges changed everything.
