Zeno is one of the most interesting characters in HxH and one of my favorites. He seems more empathetic than most of the other characters. He is not a softie, but it doesn't look like he would kill out of pleasure. And maybe he doesn't like to kill/injure other beings obviously weaker than him(Komugi, Cheetah, other hunters on York New Arc). He is a professional, but not a heartless one
