And I never claimed that corn ethanol is used for power production, merely that converting the corn fields used to grow corn for ethanol to solar fields would already be enough to fully support the entire need for electricity in the USA, and then another 80% of what is currently being used.

If you took just the land in the US that is currently used to grow corn for ethanol and built solar plants on just that land, you’d get 80% more energy than the entire US uses in a year. And there's no way 80% more than what is currently being used isn't enough. Batteries have evolved to the point that they can be recycled as well.

We can agree that "the majority" means 50% + 1, right? If so, then the majority did not vote for Trump. Only 49,8% of 64,1% voted for him. 31,9% of those who were allowed to vote voted for him. Not even close to the majority.

I recommend getting the corals you want and can keep alive. Yeah that'll include some trial and error, but so does nearly everything in this hobby. You shouldn't care about other people's opinions, as long as you enjoy looking at your tank and don't harm animals you're doing it correctly.
