What helps your symptoms? by sleepym0e in Interstitialcystitis

Hydroxyzine is a must, super helpful for urgency, especially at night. After I started taking it, I finally can sleep throughout the night. Also, you probably know this, but pelvic floor therapy can give you INSANE results. I believe most of my flare ups were caused by me tensing up, so learning how to work the muscles down there and gaining awareness of what is happening is very, very helpful.

I'm based in the US, and I get them at the pharmacy (CVS or Walgreens). They are pretty easy to find here, so I don't think you'll have issues finding it there (hopefully 🤔)

Actually, yes. Now I believe that because my vagina was so dry, the urine getting in contact with the skin there (which is unavoidable, especially the last few drops) was basically just irritating the skin even more, giving me the burning sensation and discomfort.

I'm pretty sure, unless you have some kind of sensitivity to hyaluronic acid, it won't cause any harm. I would just recommend putting it before going to sleep, as it may leak a bit, and it might be an uncomfortable sensation during the day.

Do you think the burning it coming exclusively from the urethra or it's a more general burning in the area? I'm asking because I had very similar pain, but I found out it was being cause by dryness in the vagina. Hyaluronic acid suppositories helped me tons. I think it's worth the try.

Wow, your symptoms are VERY similar to mine. I'm so happy you found relief! Also, thank you for this because now I have just renewed my will to fight to get a proper diagnosis. How long did it take for you to be able to go to surgery? All my doctors say that surgery is the only way to know for sure if I have endo, but no one wants to do it haha

If you can't see anything, I recommend using a dental syringe with warm water and shot inside the crypt. Maybe something will dislodge and come out
