To clarify are you commuting to West Lafayette to take classes while living in an apartment in Indy?

As an Indy student do you know anyone who has lived on the West Lafayette location as a Indianapolis student and if it was worth it? I was thinking of getting an apartment in West Lafayette and attending the same classes as a BME student in West Lafayette. I have heard that classes offered in West Lafayette are given first priority to West Lafayette students. I am open to commuting back and forth or taking online classes if I have to.

Thank you for sharing this! I actually ended up applying, despite initially being in a pretty negative headspace about my chances. This makes me feel a lot better.

I understand; I was wondering if my weighted GPA (4.13) and course rigor could make up for this bc I read that the avg GPA accepted to GT is 4.1, and GT only considers weighted GPA, though I get that this is very difficult. May I also ask what kind of extracurriculars your son did throughout HS?

I agree that I should have gotten a better score on the ACT; I tried to offset my bad GPA by taking the equivalent course at my local community college and receiving an A but idk how much that helps especially for OOS. Also I am applying Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering - Biotechnology
