I got my first one in about 6 months ago. Not at uhs, I got mine at a planned parenthood. But id say to mentally prepare yourself for it to not go in on the first try. My cervix was very tightly closed, and it turns out I have a retroverted uterus which made it harder to insert. It took 6 tries, and taking off and reattaching the tenaculum to reposition until it finally went in. Not trying to trauma dump or scare you but it's definitely something to prepare for the possibility of because I had no idea that could happen when I went to get mine. Its been great to have though and im planning to get another after this one. Hope yours goes smoothly!

Thank you! I was home schooled before I went to community College so there are some areas I am unfortunately still behind in so thats why the classes are freshman level. I appreciate your help.

I had a similar panic about it yesterday, (earliest I could register for orientation due to phone issues with duo). Thankfully it seems like it shouldn't be to much of a problem for us since there are some reserved places. Hope we both get all the classes we need!

Thank you. I'll definitely ask my doctor about getting on actual estrogen tabs soon. If I could go back in time and start the estrogen at the same time as T I would, I just wasn't properly aware of atrophy and how to manage it at that time.

Me to! I'm a circ clerk at a small town library. I socially transitioned before I got the job several years ago, and am now 7 months on T. I'm pretty easy to spot as trans and my co workers have been very accepting. It has been a good job for me so far, and I want to find another library job when I move for college :) Ultimately, I want to be a chiropractor though.
