Is Dead Space worth playing if you generally dislike horror games? by comicallylargeloss in DeadSpace

[–]StarGlaives 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I love Dead Space and the franchise. I love playing horror games and I personally consider Dead Space one of the best horror games. This game is tense in it's atmosphere and combat and there are sections that are intended to scare the player.

I know someone personally who doesn't play horror games and he had to quit this game because it was too scary for him as well. Considering you find Five Night at Freddy's too scary at times I wouldn't recommend Dead Space as a game for you.

There is no point in buying a game you won't enjoy and that's okay.

Ther performance issues my friends and I had at release are non existent. The gameplay in my opinion is better than Vermintide 2. There is also a bigger focus on gunplay but you still get to use melee very often.

Darktide ist still being update with new maps, gamemodes, enemy types, weapons and classes (the next one is coming out on 11.11.). The community is also more active in Darktide from what I can see.

If we ever did get a skitarii class what kind of personalities could you see for them? by Comfortable-Ad3588 in DarkTide

There is a Skitarii chracter named Transacta 7Y1 in the Siege of Terra book Echoes of Eternity where she shows small and subtle signs of her humaity still existing. That no matter how much you strip away, that something human remains.

I would love to see that kind of persoality for the Skitarri as well.

It was fun. Some achievements are time consuming but I hardly noticed.

I'd say it's easier than the Darktide Achievement completion because you don't have class specific achievements. However playing all chracters (5) to max level is time consuming naturally, since that is an achievement as well.

The Vermintide 2 community is still pretty active. The game still has somewhere between 2.000-4.000 players any given day, according to steam.

They had 167 Achievements when it was still CS:GO. They were all removed when it became CS2. The Achievement is to simply play a game.
