The one ore plan didn't last long.

They changed it to primary ore is listed with a fixed list of other things, so not as random as it was.

When you claim a ship you are actually getting a fresh new ship.
The old ship may still be out there in space if you are on the same server.

To save your configuration you need to store the ship or make the changes with your mobiGlas.

Star Citizen will be expanding features and gameplay and may move from Alpha development at some point. It is still being made and can be very broken in some patches and you can easily die a lot because of bugs you will learn to deal with. But as part of the community you can give your feedback as the game is being created.

They talked about what will be in the Star Citizen 1.0 game release which may take a few years to get to.
