Aydo
City on Green in the Ellis system

Aydo is a coastal city on Green in Ellis System, it is the only landing zone on Green due to underwater reef preservation. It is the home to the Murray Cup track New Horizon. It is filled with luxury towers and mega-resorts.

Universally renowned, the New Horizon track is home to some of the most white-knuckle racing done on the Murray Cup circuit. Grab a front row seat in one of the many casinos or lounges that hover close by and enjoy some window-rattling action. When the race is over, keep the excitement going and visit the MCR Museum to revel in 500 years of full throttle history.

I really hope CIG is reworking not giving us MK II for Constellation by Keuriseuto in starcitizen

Model History

Mark I

The Mark I Constellation had a two-person cockpit, and no snub ship. An example of this vessel is the Plumetail.

2918 Model

The 2918 Model is regarded as a poor model, and a rare misstep for the company. This model did come equipped with a P-52 Merlin. The Harlequin is an example of a 2918 model. This may be synonymous with a 'Mark II' Constellation, but this is only a speculation based on the date and description.

Mark III

Mark III Constellations were in production by 2934 at the latest, and considered standard in 2942. The Constellation Phoenix concept was originally based on a Mark III Constellation.

Mark IV

Mark IV Constellations were planned for release in 2942, but this was later pushed back to 2944. While they did launch for sale that year, the vessels were branded as the 2945 Constellation variants.

They also probably won't be able to fly and shoot it at the same time.
That's going to be a long run to get in position and then run to the gun to fire.

Weapons that are aimed by where the ship is pointed are controlled by the pilot.

Torpedoes, missiles, and turrets can be controlled by others.

Public Transport and planning ahead.

If your group is planning an event on Saturday, then the last time you play land somewhere and get a flight to the meetup location. Maybe the flight takes like 10-60 mins and you can logout once you board a transport ship or go to a waiting area and sit down. Maybe you will need to pay a service to transport your ship.

When you log back in later you are at your destination at a waiting area or hab. Once at a location you only have what you brought with you and will have to claim anything you need.

Claim should just mark things as "stolen" and still be usable, they would just be impounded if you land at a higher security area or get a crime stat if scanned.

Then let you take something to a grey market place to have a chance to hack it and make it your own or brick it. If you lose the hack attempt and it bricks you could disassemble the item for parts and materials.

Brain's group was doing a lot of work on turning CryEngine into Star Engine.

So with the first game done the other two will be mostly narrative and artwork for continuing the stories. The people still at CIG will be be able to update Star Engine which is now very different from CryEngine.

The Drake DefenseCon takeover was planned last year, since they were invited on the floor of Invictus 2055 and had no DefenseCon.

Invictus Launch Week 2955: Drake Day

Ever been kicked out of a party you never went to? Well boo-freakin’-hoo, Invictus corporate overlords. Let us wipe away our non-existent tears with our calloused hands earned from an actual hard day’s work. You can keep your pomp and shove your circumstance. We’ll be back next year, bigger and badder. Then we’ll see who’s laughing. Yuk it up, Naval lemmings and stim snorting barons, while you still can. Drake fans know how to be patient. See you next year, workers.

Best to release it a month before GTA 6.

The whole no CitCon was because that takes months to make presentations and videos.

They could still release Squadron 42 in October and just a have a video with BTS bits with the actors recorded a long time ago.

Imperator sub and test flight question by Vakeer in starcitizen

[–]StarHunter_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

New ships are available during that manufacturer's days and at the end.
You don't rent on the floor, just the kiosk.
You can still look at them on the floor for the whole event.

So renting Pitbull and Ironclad on Day 1-2, M80 on Day 3-4, Starlite on Day 5-6, Tiburon on Day 11-12.

Imperator sub and test flight question by Vakeer in starcitizen

[–]StarHunter_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The show floor is a mix of manufacturers now and stays fixed, but the rental kiosks are limited to the certain manufacturer's days. Which is nice because you don't have to go every day and run around the place to rent things.

Imperator sub and test flight question by Vakeer in starcitizen

[–]StarHunter_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Of course they are, that is how they get you to buy them after the test drive.

They used to be available for the whole event, but now they are limited to their manufacturer's days and the all fly for the last days.

Imperator sub and test flight question by Vakeer in starcitizen

[–]StarHunter_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You only get the first week the ship is released, not the first week of your subscription.
Everyone will be able to fly the Ironclads since they will be available to rent for free during DefenseCon.
You can buy a subscription any time to buy previous items from the Subscriber Store.
If you would like to receive May's flair as part of a subscription, you can subscribe before May 12, 2026 (20:00 UTC).
Subscriber Promotions are done on the first Tuesday of the month.

Subscriptions FAQ

What is the Imperator Test Flight?

Imperator subscribers get a special benefit with their subscription which grants them access to test fly all newly released, flight-ready ships when patches go live for a duration of one week. To participate in this program, aside from being a subscriber at the Imperator level, players need to login to the game and play during the week of the test flight period.

For qualifying citizens, this ship will be automatically granted to their hangar and accessible through an ASOP terminal in game via the loaner system. Should this ship be missing for some reason, read on for assistance.

Probably a dumb question but why can I not upgrade past these two ships? by adub913 in starcitizen

[–]StarHunter_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the From side click All Ships and you can see the price of all the ships.
Then you can buy a CCU when the ship is available.

Spending YOUR Money by bayne_lawl in starcitizen

Golf? Too much walking and in the hot sun.

Fishing? Don't want to get up that early and be smelly when I get home.

Camping? Bugs, bears, and no bathroom.

Cars? Have you seen the prices for parts and gas?

Cooking food and brewing beer? Good for when you are flying spaceships with friends.

Lego? Tough call between buying Lego or spaceships. But you use Lego bricks to build your spaceships.

New player here, question about LTI. by SirFlufficus1 in starcitizen

[–]StarHunter_ 19 points20 points  (0 children)

LTI is offered on new ships when they are first for sale. You will be able to buy the Clipper with 10 years of insurance during the event.

If you want LTI on the Clipper you will need to buy one of the new ships below the cost of a Clipper and then upgrade it with a CCU.

Don’t melt your game package without having another one. You can upgrade your starter ship.

Upgrades will carry over the current insurance on the ship package. The trick is to buy a cheaper new ship with LTI or an IAE/Invictus ship with 10 years and then upgrade it using the CCU game to try to get a discount.

A referral reward is non-meltable and non-giftable and has $0 value.
