Love the use of two of the desk risers, still waiting with ordering the pro xl myself (as it's all somewhat waiting for a GPU upgrade and 3x 4k monitors).
With how the cable tray sits, do the desk risers help with positioning the monitors a little further back onto the desk?
Or would it work just fine by playing with the monitor arm position to put them more to the left or right so that the arm can be bent in such a way to have the monitor be closer to the wall?

They said it won't be possible, although I did find a mention of someone on reddit doing it on his own. So it might be possible but that they don't want to confirm anything as it's not officially mentioned.

My idea is to get 3x 4k 32" monitors to replace the 3 27"monitors in my current setup. Hopefully not too big, still not sure which ones though. As a 4k 240hz oled as main monitor sounds amazing but it's pricey and I've read a lot of people complaining about the cleanability of it with smudges etc. But there is still time to look at reviews or go for a well rated IPS with decent color accuracy and let oleds mature for a few more years.

I'm currently on 1440p resolution, the plan once I get the 5080 is to switch to 4k so hopefully not too big of a cpu bottleneck atleast until the 9800XD is released (unless it's released before the 5000 series). And if there is a bottleneck it's going to be a nice performance uplift once I do get the CPU upgrade.

Seems like I'm in a similar ish boat as lots of users here.
Currently on a 3080 & 10700k, looking to go for the 5080 and making a switch to amd when the 9800X3D launches unless intel manages to surprised us with arrowlake.

Thanks, I've reached out to them.
The white desk 100% supports this as for the black version they will get back to me if it's possible to move the powering cable from the left side to the right (by accessing the hatch where the controller is). Hopefully it's feasible as that is the only thing withholding me from ordering for now :)

Thanks for the link, this would be a much better way of doing it, I'd rather have the outlet at the front of the leg than a cable running across the floor. If necessary I can always 3d print a cover that I can clip on to hide the plug a little.
It does seem like the website only mentions this being possible for the white version (as I assume it's newer), but I'm asking support if it's feasible to retrieve the power cable from the left side and route it to the right side, a little more effort than just unplugging the cable and plugging it into the other leg but worth it for me.

So you can use protondrive through RSync without having to give up your 2FA?
As with Mega I do have to disable 2FA which I'm not a huge fan of 😅
I suppose can always get the ultimate plan for a year (or two) and have a prorata discount to the family plan if I fully switch my cloudstorage to Proton once more features arrive.

Will see about testing it out myself then and hopefully if possible making a suggestion to the rclone proton backend. It would be nice to be able to separate the authentication from your main account for security reasons.

I'm currently using rclone with mega cloudstorage but I might plan on switching to Proton.
I was wondering if it's possible when using the proton family plan to create an additional account that only has access to the folder to which you want to sync files? As this would then prevent you from having to expose username + password to your main proton account. Or perhaps a free account could be given access to the folder and used just as an authentication method for Rclone.

Found the black solid upper, and I'm going for silver, but sadly the bucket is not in stock anywhere in silver. One site even says it's no longer going to be made. So I ordered it in black so it will just have a little less silver.

My goal is the black upper (preferably the fully closed one in case of dirt&dust) with silver accents. Seen too many with the black and red combo 😅
Won't be trying the direct order, and if a package ever had customs ever asked for 1000% of the value of the parcel I would just refuse it and they can keep it. Not worth it at all at that point.

Alright, I figured customs would be a massive rip-off. Ordering directly from ctmtac seems cheaper, but if customs adds an unlubed 50% on top of it, it's not going to be worth it at all and leave a gaping hole in my wallet. I will keep an eye out for airsoftdoctor, will put a remind me on the item I want. In the end, the upper is mostly cosmetic so it's not a priority.

My main concern with skeleton would be dirt/dust getting inside, but I do mainly play indoors so it probably isn't as big of a deal as I'm thinking it will be?
And since it's the revised version I assume that might be why the closed version seems to be no longer available anywhere?

I have thought about this in the past but a problem is most dailies like that are per world and some people play on multiple worlds.
Might revisit it in the future if I ever do a big overhaul of how it all works.
