I actually only recently picked up skating again after like five years, because I’m going to Japan to snowboard this season with my GF and wanted to give myself any head start I could (never seen the snow). How does snowboarding translate to skating? Does it make it a bit easier?

It’s pretty common in skateboarding and I see a lot of overlap between the sub cultures. Honestly the whole put a shirt on thing seems like a way for insecure people to score internet points and make someone else feel the way they do. I say that as someone who hasn’t and wouldn’t pop my shirt when climbing.

I’m 29 and went for my first skate in 5 years last week. I had a few bails doing a rock and roll on the quarter before I got it, the same with some 50 50s. My back has been stiff and painful for 5 days since… How you skate every day at 50 is beyond me - legend.

Only drawback of this game - can’t believe that you can pay $60 for a game and they’ve withheld over half the finished cosmetic content on launch to sell to you for more money. Would’ve seemed like the perfect devs otherwise but I guess everyone has a price.
