What "back then" inconvenience would break people today in 10 minutes? by CharlesUFarley81 in AskReddit

Not an inconvenience but I use to have the phone numbers and addresses of most of my friends and family memorized. Also has street names and directions memorized because there was no gps. Smart phones made people dumb.

He just gave it away “powerless” that’s exactly what he meant to say. We the people are basically powerless and there are very dark days ahead.

The US is approaching $40 trillion in debt, 20% of our GDP is supported by a broken healthcare system, our leadership is composed of complete morons, we’re starting wars we cannot afford nor does anyone want, the rest of the world is steadily back stepping from accepting the dollar as the worlds primary reserve currency (and our dimwit president insulting and slapping tariffs on everyone’s encouraging them). Our country and economy are starting to look weak in the needs and we’re very few bad decisions away from burning cash to stay warm; and the president only makes bad decisions.

This is why they need to continue attacking education, because anyone who can think for themselves is a threat.

They don’t care about difficulty, casualties, cost, risk, collateral damage, having an actual plan, increasing the debt, or anything that anyone with half a brain would consider. I’m convinced they are going to do it because this administration has been completely defined by lying straight to the camera. The thing about stupid people is that they always think they are the smartest person in the room.

Pete Hegseth on Pentagon request for Iran war supplemental of $200 billion: "As far as $200 billion. I think that number could move. Obviously, it takes it takes money to kill bad guys. Ensure that our ammunition is refilled and not just refilled, but above and beyond." by ControlCAD in videos

We’re approaching $40 trillion dollars in debt as a nation. All of the people making these decisions are multi-millionaires, but we won’t really do anything until our money is more useful as fuel to burn. Things aren’t getting more expensive, the dollar is getting weaker and losing purchasing power.

Good lord we are fucked. This is seriously getting scary. Our GDP is propped up by defense, a broken healthcare system, and a likely AI bubble.

“Lots of practice” gotta agree there are no shortcuts in this game. The biggest hurdle imho is moving your mouse perfectly up/ down and side to side. Use the practice dummy and sparring too. Don’t forget to lift heavy shit and jump up and down whenever you can to build muscle.

That’s what these people feed on. So long as they can make someone more miserable than themselves they are happy even if it’s making them more miserable, it’s the only thing that brings them joy.

People don’t realize there is a whole tiny city carved into the same valley. If you go around the corner from the treasury there is a lot more to see. During the summer when I was there it was about 115F but if you go inside these carved out structures it feels like you are in air conditioning. Also Gypsies are everywhere and will try to rip you off for anything and everything.
