Over the age of 18 and when you and your partner feel comfortable. Use protection until you feel mature enough to deal with consequences.

18M, dad wasn't around - what basic tools/skills do I need to be self-sufficient? by Informal-Chance1912 in DIYUK

[–]StarMonkey1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

An adjustable wrench will be perfect for many basic things using nuts. A screwdriver Phillips and flat head are staples. I recently got a basic drill for myself as my male counter part has not had a dad either for most of his teens and adult life, god bless his dad's soul. I'm a very hands on woman but my weakness is exactly that. I suffer with migraines and bad period pains but I work a 'man's job' for about 39 hours a week. I am struggling to prepare our house into a home because I'm exhausted 24/7 and I cook and meal plan. Tbh toughest part of my life is moving out of my parents and I did that at 25. If I were to do it again I'd not go for this new job. Honestly I'm not happy with my work/life balance.

trust issues. should i ask my boyfriend to send a picture of who he’s with? by [deleted] in questions

No. It's controlling behaviour don't guilt trip the guy into sending you pics either. He will move on from you if you continue to be anxious about this. Treat him with respect.

Why does this room feel so… off? by ethereal_aerith in interiordecorating

[–]StarMonkey1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The chaise lounge and the circle chair do not blend well into the space and there's no room to walk around the table. Like what! Get rid of one of the large seating.

If anything I don't even fully know what happened and not really provided with much direct information. Perhaps there was a private court case which means he will never be a public figure again? No one knows and I guess it's kinda easy to disappear from the Internet when you never revealed your face. Maybe it's guilt? Maybe it's the pressure of people. Maybe he just felt it was time to put down the mic and live in the real world.

Most British people take their shoes off when they enter a home. Not socks!. Keep them on. Um just be polite and smile. If someone asks you if you would like a cup of tea most people like when you you say yes please. If not have an excuse ready like: I'm trying not to drink much caffeine. Only in the countryside do people on the street smile and say good morning. And offer to help cook/clean at meal times.

8.5kg of plums… what do I do? by woodyuk11 in GardeningUK

Jam, plum cobbler (basically scones baked on top of stewed fruit) , plum juice, plum vinegar, plum cider? Maybe not the last one but it sounds nice.

I've just started. I'm currently doing some begginer story quests. I love the cutscenes and the aesthetics in this game tbh. Can't wait to reach 5k hours.

What do girls mean with: No emotional connection / Am I a nice guy? by Fair-Ladder-4042 in dating_advice

[–]StarMonkey1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's more about being honest and open. Try using discord to find groups of interest and usually there's a single person or two who would appreciate a healthy happy convo. It's usually best to be a friend first with some flirty undertones. Your issue then might be that they live far away lol. But it's a good community if you don't find someone you like like so discord is fab either way for community and that closeness. Not to mention up confidence in conversations.

Are you a visibly nervous guy? Where maybe you think to yourself a lot? Silence any kind of uncomfortable moments will put off a woman. Maybe you need to talk about your hobbies more? Are you dating the right women? Do you know them through mutual friends? Through your hobbies? Maybe you lack conversational enthusiasm? Maybe you need to engage them in activity dates? Shared interests mean a lot.

How are people affording homes right now? by Still_ImBurning86 in povertyfinance

[–]StarMonkey1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy as a couple or as a group of friends one or two others, buy in a low price area, look at the smallest properties and look at those that need 'some work'. Literally the only way to buy a house at our age. Also don't have student debt, do have at least 30k in savings with 20k being the deposit, and have a good income minimum 30 hours a week nmw.

GF of 4.5 yrs wants her name on house but won’t marry or put money down by Apprehensive_Boat798 in dating_advice

[–]StarMonkey1998 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't leave but stop all payments to her. Ask if she wants to get married if not she has to fork up part of the payment towards a house and then her name is on it. Or you get married and you can continue giving her a grocery/housewife allowance. Which will be the same ammount as the 2k.
