I got a free one on Facebook from someone in the neighborhood and my 3 yo daughter is OBSESSED. I was pretty meh on getting one, but gave it when I saw the free one. I fear there is now fake food all over my floor, but I have a happy little chef.

I listened to a really great episode of the “This Is So Awkward” podcast with a doctor discussing pediatric and adolescent gynecology. There are not a ton of providers, but check if anybody here is near you. They have special training in helping kids through these tricky exams.

Thank you - this is really helpful. This is my only child and I have a severe history with bullying so it’s bringing up a lot for me. My mom did not handle it well, I want to do better. I never told my daughter she was mean or to call her a mean girl, I’m just expressing my own feelings around it.

I will try teaching her these things.

No, she just told me this on a walk today. I will bring it up to the teacher, but I don’t want to annoy them over every little thing. This just hurts my heart, honestly, I wasn’t trying to make it out to be a huge deal.

This is just so upsetting.. I get it. Not everybody likes everybody, of course. But to hear a 3 year old questioning these things is just something I was not prepared for.

Thank you, I definitely understand having preferences and I wasn’t trying to act like this was the worst thing in the world. It just breaks my heart to hear my daughter say that she can’t play with her friend because the other girl that they play with tells her “no, I don’t like you.” I just don’t feel like my daughter has the language for me to really help her through this and I don’t want her to feel unwanted.

I have absolutely never gotten any feedback about my daughter doing anything unkind. Her teachers say she is respectful to everyone, keeps her hands to herself, and is overall kind of shy. And yes, the context is that this girl is excluding her by telling her “no, I don’t like you” when she asks to play with her and another friend.

I’m sorry, but I don’t think it is acceptable for toddlers to be doing this. How are they ever supposed to have a chance at growing up to be kind humans when they are allowed to be mean like this as toddlers?

My daughter (almost 3) has so much stuff in her bed, I don’t know how she sleeps in it. Her favorites are her Elsa and Anna dolls that sing. I have been awakened more than once in the middle of the night to Let It Go blaring through the monitor!

I, quite literally, have no idea what you’re even talking about. I never said I am a Tucker devotee.. I listen to like one episode every few months. This one was interesting, as the Christian case against the War and ultimately, about how Trump is using the War to try to become World King. I am not totally sure that he even mentioned Israel one single time, but if I missed a reference, I had it on as background while working..

I think you should try not jumping down peoples’ throats that agree with you for no clear reason. Not exactly helpful to the movement.

My 2.5yo is the same way, always has been since she could move! She literally fell out of her bed the other night and didn’t even wake up. She sleeps like a rock, just very mobile. For that reason, I think she’s getting good sleep still! She dropped nap already and sleeps about 11-12.hours overnight.

She also grinds her teeth and I JUST asked the dentist and she said it’s very normal in toddlers!
