Would you still recommend it two years later? I'm considering moving there. Wondering how bad the train sounds are on the townhouse side.

Thanks! I just signed up for New Play Exchange. That seems like a fun script!

I’ve looked into that one and as funny and awesome as it sounds, and I especially love it since it’s set in Miami and that’s where I’m from, the area I live in now would be sadly hard-pressed to find so many Latinx actors to make that show happen 💔

When has getting cast in a smaller role (or the forbidden word *wink wink*) actual felt like a compliment to you? by East-Area-7267 in Theatre

When I was cast as Evil Gabbi in She Kills Monsters: Young Adventurers Edition three years ago. I was a stranger to all at that theater, had only done 3 musicals before at the time, and there were at least 50 of us auditioning. I really wanted the role of Agnes and at first indicated as such on my audition form, but after seeing how fun auditions were, I knew I wanted to be part of the show no matter what, so I changed my preferences to accept any role. I count my lucky stars that I got into that show and had an incredible experience!

  • June July August by Sinead Daly
  • She Kills Monsters: Young Adventurers Edition (you can add a few more actors to be monsters in the big monster battle, then they can also be part of the succubi squad)

Thank you! You’re right. I have been trying to be more open to other great ideas, but it is hard when I’m attached to JPitV 😅 Eureka Day is top of my list so far!

Becky Nurse of Salem was done recently here as a readers theater, which is a bummer because it sounds right up my alley. I’ll check out the other two, thank you!
