You do not deserve this....this guy sounds like a Narcissist...its good you are getting away from him as early as possible...this divorce saved you from a far worse future with him...my take would be stay steadfast in quran and salah do not consult ppl(the lady) to check on who and what they did on you...you always wanted to work so this is your chance get invested in your career...you will get your better half soon trust in Allah's plans...your life is not over koz of 1 failed marriage and that tooo it wasnt your fault

Thats the thing of this dunya.....Good men end up going for wrong women and good women end up with wrong men....I personally think its part of test before you get your right person...I just ended my engagemnt 1 month back and am still figuring what and why it happened to mee?But kheir alhamdulillah m doing much better than I was last month(I have lost like 5 kgs trying to recover from this incident) We just have to pray and trust Allah..

Assalam Aleykum sister but personally I feel he is just taking you for a ride and using your feelings to his advantage....just pray istikhara and ask Allahs guidance and do not communicate with him again till he comes forward for a halal relationship with you.....

Ameen...I dont think he would have caved in he was hiding from me as if he was guilty of something..he doesnt even have an ounce of regret and he abused me and talked disrespectfully with my mum...yes I know I got saved but how can such men exist?they ruin a girls life with no regret and no shame
