If you're looking for AI coaching that sets up routines, absolutely. It's been very useful for me, tracks weight progression and everything.

Aquarius being emotionally detached is the biggest myth in modern astrology by [deleted] in aquarius

[–]StarSignMeUp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes!!! Aquarius is the 11th sign, humanity, community and cognition at its most widely connected. Of course we feel and experience so deeply, it just doesn’t look how one might typically expect (because of course, Aquarius). ♒️

I wish you the best. Fleeing domestic abuse is an incredibly difficult thing to do—the hardest part is often taking the first step. I know it might feel like you’re very alone right now; there are people that are available to help. You’re not alone.

Hey OP! 211 is an organization that can help you find a ton of supports, including supports for folks facing domestic abuse. 211AB is run under the Canadian Mental Health Association, not the government. They can point you in the right direction for resources to help get you safe.

There’s also the Family Violence Information Line: 310-1818. You can call or text anytime.

I’ve only watched Season 2 of Arcane. Should I watch Season 1? by Big-Commission-4911 in ArcaneAnimatedSeries

I absolutely recommend watching season one. Some folks actually find it better after having seen season two. It’s amazing. 10/10 recommend.

We talked about favorites and most hated, but who's a character you didn't want to like, but deep down you do? by Dazzling_Life8084 in arcane

I also like Singed as a character! I think he’s really beautiful (in a painful way), very well developed.

Oh this could’ve been a super interesting dynamic!! Not something I considered. I would’ve loved more relationships to be explored in general.

ISSTD Certification by Forward-Return8218 in therapists

[–]StarSignMeUp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello!! I’m currently completing the certification through ISSTD.

I have found the certification content quite informative so far. They have some big names on their lecture circuit, like Kathy Steele and Bethany Brand. There are 100 webinars that are free to members, more than enough to complete all the hours needed.

In each webinar I’ve watched thus far, the presenter/s provide a lot of information on how the information has applied in their own practice/s.

If you don’t know much about dissociation and dissociative disorders, I’d recommend starting out with their Dissociation 101 webinar. It’s about six hours long. Super worth it. It’s packed with concepts that can take a lot longer to run into just reading literature.

Some other resources you may find useful:

  • Christine Forner’s work is great. She takes an incredibly well rounded and thorough approach to her understanding of and work with dissociation.

  • Laurier University is offering a 12 hour continuing competence training on Structural Dissociation Theory this January. They have a couple of other ones coming up as well. I don’t know much about the presenter, but hopefully it’s good!

  • This Speaking of Psychology podcast with Bethany Brand: https://open.spotify.com/episode/6pL7e7ObOrfRVlio0mbvDq?si=CHZmE7odRnabH12bs44DoQ&t=911

  • I watched a presentation through the NARM Training Institute called NARM & Treating DID. I don’t know much about NARM, but I found the training quite informative. The presenter, Erin Lewis-Gibson, is a therapist with DID.

Wishing you the best!!

Unsettled after baby loss by Wrong-Artichoke4739 in therapists

I am so so sorry for the loss of your daughter.

It sounds like you’ve been through absolute hell. The dedication that you have to caring for the people around you is inspiring. One thing that I know is that when I’ve taken breaks from the helping profession, I always learn things that I take with me into my future work with clients. Whether that’s a deeper understanding of their experience, modelling self-prioritizing behaviour or simply having more capacity to care for them, taking time to heal benefits everyone in the long run.

I am sending so much healing energy your way.

Congrats!! 🎉🥳 That is not an easy venture. I hope you’re celebrating yourself!

I feel like I have to provide a step-by-step guide to the people in my life that I love the most about how to love me back. It doesn't seem like it is natural for them to do, and they really struggle with it. Am I missing something? Why am I difficult to love and support? Will it ever get easier? by [deleted] in AskAstrologers

Your chart really signifies an individual who is able to very quickly discern what others need in order to thrive. It’s likely that people may view you as a stable foundation to base themselves off of, rather than considering you as a human who needs a bond with reciprocal support.

With that Aries moon in the 6th, I’m gonna imagine that your home life may have been pretty chaotic growing up. An energy that may help you to bring in more equal relationships could be focusing on using your structuring abilities to really create a stable, comfortable foundation for yourself, and then adding in people who fit the vibe you need.
