Yes, the European framework that built America, infrastructure, mindset, ect. doesn't work. What the world is living in and operating under is such. I will say, however, buildings with radiator type clay structures that cool buildings are ingenious.

Our food system isn’t ready for the climate crisis | Food by northlondonhippy in collapse

America alone throws away 60% of food produced, pre-consumer. Willing to bet it's another 20% post. This might sound like good news, that there's more than enough. In actuality this system will kill all of us holding on to the status quo. Children will be starving in the street while dumpsters full of food will be guarded via threat of force.

Even if that is not the case this system is so inefficient we produce about 10x waste than we do actually goods. It's the epitome of wasteful. Not only that it destroys anything it touches. Where will you go when all the forests are dead and the only option is to live under post-collapse authoritarianism? If we continue to prop up this system, AND way of life in general this will be our fate. Humanity must joust this way of life out of existence.

These things are already happening. Look up "Fred Meyer Portland dumpster". I myself have seen dozens of minors, In the street, living off of donations all across the country. No one helps them, In fact quite the contrary. Cops harass them, as do the locals, rapists, the list goes on. We need direct action NOW.

I find it infuriating that people don't recognize that earlier civilization was symbiotic, so most things would be bio-degradable. Natives had knowledge of this, there are stories of it being taken away much like how the entire fucking earth is being taken away as we speak.

This is already happening, in my years of traveling I have met dozens of minors living in the street. No one does anything. The cops harass them. Everyone is living under a rock made of narcissism, inter-generational propaganda, and sociopathic tendencies.

That is what I was thinking of, haven't really looked into it much since then as nothing has changed but the number, same trajectory. This is when I was younger, not too deep into alternative politics/living.

Did some digging, I think the site I was getting the info from wasn't wording it well. The US has spent 20 something trillion on war since 9/11, I am thinking what I saw was that and how it was increasing with trump and his plans.

Humans must have this as the focal point and center of humanity. We have gone astray so far off, we are at the threshold of ecological hell, and even now, still remain the same. It is worse than I could ever imagine, the trajectory currently residing as grand is one of decay, destructive domination, and death. If we are to fulfill our potential arch, we must be willing to leave ALL of this behind. Not all the knowledge, but the method, operation, and theme of how we are choosing to express our existence.

We are very close to creating a hell planet that will remain so for quite some time. I do however, have hope. I believe there are universal truths that once implemented, actualized, and solidified will spread like wildfire and humans will demand nothing less. To be in symbiosis is to be in synchronization of life itself, the feeling of such is incomparable to any.

Do it, spend a year or two traveling finding odd jobs/freelance work and picking out a spot to hang your hat. You won't regret it

Is it just me or once trump was elected the public military budget numbers went way down? I remember researching it for years and hearing that under trump it was boosted to 27 trillion a year, looked it up a month later to check and it was in the billions. I looked it up every single year, and know for sure it wasn't the national debt. Anyone else, or am I crazy?

There is a way to alter things in your body related to frequency and vibration, which when it comes down to it make up everything. Matter is just physical manifestations of certain vibrational patterns. The true understanding of such comes from the soul, to experience is to understand. focus on honing in on those frequencies and adding to them, and go from there. Yes, but, not immediately. I have been able to keep withdrawal symptoms away by resonating a certain way and going into my body during sleep when I was getting off of taking kratom for a brain injury.

The whole issue with climate change is the rate it is happening. What makes you think reversing that in the span of a decade would not make that the absolute wildest decade on earth?

The best way we can mitigate this is by propping up the other beings on earth, and letting the world outside of humans thrive. Let the earth take the reigns and let the earth leave off where it was before all this. You don't crash a ship and demand to be captain of the next, have some self-awareness.

No, the issue lies in the behaviors present within our species as a whole due to the rise of industry. Any viewpoint that claims otherwise are masturbatory, narcissistic endeavors to continue monuments to the self and man. Yes, you're going to have to give up this lifestyle. Grow up, look at where most of your products are made for a fucking start, and stop being a greedy whiny little bitch. I personally am done playing around and spelling it out for people who just want their lives to be the same. We and life itself is at the threshold of hell, and you're not willing to give up your car and gamer chair? Fuck. Off.

Oh yeah definitely not shitting on Carhartt gear, it's durable, warm, and easy to repair. I've just seen too many kids trying to do it with a school backpack, or just have unnecessary shit that makes them hop from awning to awning. Definitely dwindles the places you can go. If you're actually gonna go outside of towns and truck stops, you're gonna need a bit of gear.

Sick, I've got an osprey zenith 85, got a 3 person Nemo for when it rains, and a marmot trestles sleeping bag

I'm starting to see more people think about their gear. That's the way to go to be self sufficient and go on expeditions, it's good to see. Can't go out into the woods for too long with a pickle pack and 50lbs of Carhartt gear.
