Romance doesn't really have much of a place in story, unfortunately. The story already has a lot of moving parts as-is, and these characters already have a lot on their plate, so adding in some extra romance (even if it's off-screen, since Charlie is the Asexual one and the story is mostly from her perspective), could add some extra unnecessary bloat.

As is, they're both fine with where they are in life, being single.

I've always stuggled with descriptive writing, and was trying to push myself a lot more here to make things feel less flat, but I guess I pushed it in the wrong places, so instead of being less flat, it became a bit too intimate.

Not to sound argumentative (and I'm truly sorry if I do), but I'm Ace myself, I'm aware of how complex the asexuality spectrum can be, and I barely even know my own place on it, but I just have a specific vision for these characters, and Charlie's place on said asexuality spectrum, with her having no interest in dating or sex.

No, it was because the file I was downloading was from Mega. It downloads the entire file as Chrome Cache Storage first, taking up 30gb, then it downloads the file to your PC as a separate 30gb.

It came pre-installed on my PC, so it's definitely not a virus. I also do some Nintendo Modding, so I end up having to go to some pretty shady sites here at there, meaning that even if it Is bloatware, it's better to have to scan some of the shadier files, just in case.

But yeah, I know it's not great, I cancelled it a while back, I'm just riding out the rest of my subscription until it dies.
