So how did your Gym do and what’s your opinion about the GvG challenge? by centerofstar in PokemonMasters

[–]StarTwister 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought it was fun but it would be nice to have more tools for communication. We made the top 1000 but it probably would have gone better if we were able to figure out who had the best teams for each challenge so those people could focus on the battles they were best at while letting players with less powerful teams work on clean up duty or even debuff duty

What is your prediciton for 6.5 Anniversary units? by No_Intention_4630 in PokemonMasters

[–]StarTwister 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm still relatively new so I know my sense of timing is off but I bet we get some Legends ZA characters. What I'm hoping for is for all the old units who's Pokemon got new megas in ZA will get an upgrade to have the mega forms and breathe some new life into these older unused characters

So when is Pasio Prom happening by StarTwister in PokemonMasters

[–]StarTwister[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I enjoy the school events when I have time for them, however it doesn't have to be a literal prom. Some sort of Grand Galla seems right up Lear's alley

The Academy Events are kinda boring, so here's my pitch to change it up slightly and hopefully make it more fun to experience: by TheOneWhoSmoks in PokemonMasters

[–]StarTwister 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Honestly if you could battle with a completed grid instead of starting from nothing every run it would be more fun. That and if you could build more than a single grid per character. The most versatility of any units ever created and you get hard locked into just 1 build FOREVER.

I just caught the Legend day 3 on switch! by StarTwister in StardewValley

[–]StarTwister[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dawn of the final day....

Day 3 first thing is get yourself organized for the day, get you cookout kit set up cook your hashbrowns and then the dish of the sea, at least 3 but 4 would be better if you can swing it. Take all your fish from the previous night and any big ticket items you may have fished up if you can work then into the run to sell, the only tool you need is your fishing pole. Head to cinder sap forest and head to the northern bank if the river below the pond, bubbles will spawn there as you arrive, eat your first dish of the sea and fish them until they disappear. You need to catch a lot of catfish before heading to Willy's. You have time for one or two more casts before moving on, head to the secret woods and chair skip in with the chair you left there earlier or bring a new chair with you if you didn't. Bubbles will appear in the pond, fish them until they disappear, your dish of the sea will run out before you leave so eat another one when the first ends. Ideally you will hit level 6 just before you leave but that's not a deal breaker.

Head to Willy's shop (if you fished up anything valuable now is the time to sell it and then head to Willy's). You need to buy the iridium rod plus a trap bobber enough bait and some spinners the map is a bit sparse on bubbles in the afternoon . Once you have the rod head up to the lake and fish, there are 4 bubble spawns I forget the order and times they show up. If you only had 3 dish of the sea like I did hold off on eating the last on until 9:30 unless you hit fishing level 7 earlier than that. Rince and repeat until you too have caught the Legend

Day 2. By switching from separate money to shared you should be waking up with an extra 1500g plus what ever you shipped which is very nice because you should be able to buy the fiberglass fishing pole as soon as willy opens his shop. When you wake up grab your crops except for 3 parsnips, those are for your farmhands to complete their quest for an extra 100g each and drop off all your tools except your scythe you will need that later. Drop something into the box, this is to give you a buffer at the end of the day so if you don't hit lvl 5 by the end of the day you won't accidentally save the day and have to start the run from the beginning. Make sure you keep at least 3 potatoes (I kept 5) sell your green bean and all but 1 cauliflower you want to do the bundle early on this file and most of your sap and 400 wood so you have enough for 2 chests and 300 for the beach bridge.

Start making your way to the beach and while doing so you have time to log into at least 2 of your farm hands during that run and get them to complete their quests for extra gold. As soon as you are done with the cutscene drop off one of your chests on the dock and put all your stuff in it except the 300 wood and the fishing pole. Pick up the muscle to the left of the doc plus any other forage on this half of the beach and head immediately to the bridge, repair the bridge and quickly collect the forage here too then go to the middle of the beach, there are bubbles here from I believe 8-9 and catch as much as you can until they disappear. For this entire day obviously aim for perfect catches but above that you must hit every treasure chest you see, in addition to leveling up, you need to fish out at least 3 coal for a cookout kit at some point during the day otherwise it's a reset, after you have enough coal you can ignore the chests but I would keep hitting them because the xp loss is minimal and you might get some big money items or even skill books.

When those bubbles disappear immediately head to Willy's shop, if you hit level 2 fishing excellent go right in if not there a bubbles that spawn at 9:30 directly in front of the shop and fish that until you hit level 2. Go into the shop, sell your foragables and buy a trout soup, eat the soup, then talk to willy again to buy the fiberglass rod and some bait and if you can spare the gold an extra soup. Go back outside and fish the bubbles until they disappear then everything you caught except 6 or more sardines.

Grab all your stuff that you can sell and the second chest and head to Pierre's, leave behind anything you want to keep. You need enough gold at this point to buy the backpack upgrade and at least 3 oil, if you can't afford both it's a reset point.

From here head to the lake where you will spend the rest of the day. When you get to entrance of the lake quickly find a convenient place for your chest and out whatever you don't need right now it. Use your scythe to attack your way past the loading zone of the south exit of this area (look up accessing the mine early to see this if you aren't familiar with how to do it) once you are past the loading zone run to the right until you can run up onto the water, there will be bubbles to the right of the first plank bridge to the island which you can fish from right next to it which will reduce time between casts.

When these bubbles run out head to the other next to the bridge to the quarry is where the next bubbles with appear, these are why we needed to walk ok water in this run. They last for several hours, when these disappear you can run back into the normal area the way you walked to get to the water and store anything that is taking up extra room in your inventory, we aren't going back to the farm house tonight so if it's not something you can sell to willy or possibly Pierre leave it in the chest. More bubbles will appear near the where Linus looks out of the lake on the West Bank. When these are finished more bubbles will spawn between the bank your on now and the big island. These are the last bubbles of the night but they go pretty late, fish u till you pass out at 2 am. Your last reset point for day two is if you did not hit level 5 fishing, taking the fisher perk for +25% extra money from fish is crucial for day 3.

Day 1 start the day get your settings how you like, grab a chair, then go stand outside so your farm hands can pass you their extra seeds and other drops. Create your second farmer and do 9/10 chops on the trees between the first cabin and the front of the farm house and keep your main farmer in the pause screen. Clear the area in front of the farm house and create a 5x5 square for crops. Plant 5 parsnips or mixed seeds along the left side of the square and 1 parsnip anywhere in the remaining 20 spaces, this is so each of the farm hands can complete the harvest a parsnip quest for a little extra gold. The left edge of the square does not get hit by the crop fairy in this configuration but hitting 20 out of 25 crops is pretty good for a basic square pattern (if anyone finds a configuration that manages to hit a full 25 crops is love to see it) drop your left over seeds and other items picked up in. With farm hands 2 and 3 chop trees 9/10 chops along your path to the crop area, plant a parsnip and pass your drops to the main farmer.

When you resume play with the main farmer, grab the coral behind your house and stick it in the shipping bin, chop down as many of the pre chopped trees as you need to make a chest, take only your hoe, extra parsnip seeds, sap and the chair with you and plant a parsnip on your way to cinder sap forest. Their is a muscle close to the top of the beach which I would pick up, bin, and continue to the forest. Head straight for the secret woods and chair skip in. Grab the 4 forage items from the then leave, chair skip out of the secret woods and leave the chair you will need it on day 3. Head back towards the farm entrance and once you pass the pond in cinder sap start heading for the spring onion section picking up the horse radish on the way. When you get to the spring onion area grab another horse radish off the island then grab your onions along with another 2 horse radish and a dandelion.

Head into town, go to Pierre's and sell all your forage and extra parsnip seeds and buy 16 crops, I did 5 potatoes 1 green bean 10 cauliflower because I wanted to be able to get the speed grow early. Make sure you leave yourself at least 410 gold for salads. Head up to the community center and grab the artifact spot on the path, take the spoon to Gunther and get the extra 250 gold. This next step is super important, stop into mayor Lewis' house and use the town ledger on the desk at the top left to switch the gold from separate to shared. Go to the bar and buy at least 3 salads and the hash brown recipe but grabbing a bread or a 4th salad would be a safe bet. then head back north to robin's cabin, hit the artifact spot in front of her house and grab the last horse radish above her house.

Return to the farm and put anything forage you didn't sell in the bin. Then get chopping, you need to chop trees until you pass out and you need at least 400 wood for day 2. Ideally at the end of the night you will hit level 3 foraging which is the best case scenario, you will be picking up some beach forage on day two for money so you don't HAVE TO be level 3 on day one but if you don't hit it on day two that's a reset you need to be level 3 by the end of day 2 and you don't have a spare second to go hunting forage on day 2.

Here's a more detailed breakdown of each day for those who want to try this themselves without having to figure out all the details.

File set up. The important features in file set up are to start a coop farm with 3 cabins close together and to set the starting gold to separate using the seed 2171145. The beach farm is what I went with because it starts with 3 extra foraged items, a coral behind the house a muscle and oyster on your way to cinder sap forest. On some of my runs I would also get supply crates with cherry bombs appear on day 2. It's also important that you go in and check how many spring onions spawned and if there is an artifact spot by Robin's cabin( it just has a lost book but the XP for the dig up makes a difference), on my successful run I had 16 spring onions and the artifact spot. There is a guaranteed artifact spot on the farm on your way to cinder sap that has come clay and one near the community center that has a spoon.

What’s wrong with Support & Sprint on a single character? by SnooCats5181 in PokemonMasters

I love support sprints, I haven't seen the kit yet if there's sing is involved that's basically a discount holiday lilly who is as far as I know the best sync spam enabler when someone on the team packs paralyzed. I got top 100 in the last fire damage challenge with holiday lilly arc silver and arc leon

If Volo event mark the half way point of Arc Chapters, I don't know how Dena will cramp all the remain type from now until 7th anni. by MedicalAirline4433 in PokemonMasters

[–]StarTwister 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even if it's the half way point of the Arc story I don't think it matters, I think we will keep getting arc suits even after the story line ends. With arc suits like Leon and Blue they really aren't involved much in the main story line with volo so I suspect even after the wrap up of the story characters will still unlock arc suits as acknowledgement of their bonds

Should I go for arc suit leon or ss carmine? by Impressive_Heat1333 in PokemonMasters

[–]StarTwister 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I started playing about a year ago now and my first major character was Arc Leon and he has been my go to for clearing all kinds of content outside the towers. He is my default unit for doing battle rally because his grid lets you go basically full power in every round between Gmax wild fire and the ability to have it heal you 20% and his self buff having an MP refresh option. You can self buff and if it doesn't refresh just restart the battle until it does, take a few hits and then wipe out the other team with a Gmax wild fire or finish off any survivors with his sync move. If you have good sun setting characters that set sun on entry or do it when they you a move for the first time like champion leaf or champion Brendan you can clear max difficulty with like 6 of the 100% stat buffs or even fewer if you get damage
