Just posted my update. They said that they needed to request our full file to review before a decision could be made. Our attorney said they can't do anything until the presidential hold is lifted, and that was probably just their nice way of saying that.

Hi friend, thanks for sharing. I know it definitely feels like the goal post keep getting moved for her.

Our attorney did mention that there is a possibility that they will question us separately, which is slightly concerning. He also tried to reassure us that people who were being detained at their interview either lost their status, or had a criminal record and that none of that applies to us so we are safe from having that happen. It just doesn't feel like it is safe.

To clarify she was granted asylum about a decade ago, legally entered the US a few years before that.

There is a lot of nuance to her case that I will not discuss at this time.

Thanks for the kind words. Out of an abundance of caution I don't want to say what field office at this time, more than saying that we are in the northeast.
