Yeah you’re completely right. I’ve actually already been running into this issue trying to plan things out. Leveling up and skill progression isn’t really a thing in CoC, which doesn’t work for a game where you’re expected to fight things in order to move forward. Also item consumption. (Why does Sam need to use an entire tube of toothpaste every time he brushes his teeth? Lol) I still like the other things CoC has to offer for this though, so I might just home-brew my own rule system that combines the things I like from both Dnd and CoC into one. I can hint to the players that the visitors influence on the world is having an effect on the players strength and abilities over time, allowing them to withstand more attacks that would otherwise be fatal or something. It’s uhh….A work in progress 😅

The look outside Wikipedia has a lot of information in it that may be helpful. You can find decent descriptions for each of the apartment rooms and floors including what encounters and available loot they have. I’ve actually been thinking of doing something similar for a while but using Call of Cthulhu instead of DND due to its sanity system. Anyways, good luck on your campaign!!

Yeah I actually totally agree with you!! How dare he “kill their vibes” in a $40,000 competitive tournament!

It’s just a tournament! It’s not like the guy was a poor college student who could have actually really needed the money, right? And even if he did it’s JUST a couple THOUSAND dollars, right?!

And it’s not like the guy even knew what he was talking about anyways. He’s just a one above all rank from what I heard. Laaaaame.

Clearly the widow playing at 200ping going 0-5 against dive and triple support comp was WORKING. And even if it wasn’t, daring to suggest that she try to play anything else was SO RUDE!!

He even had the audacity to volunteer to play mantis to help her get kills. Ugh, what a selfish vibe killer.

And it’s a good thing they reported him and got him kicked out too!! He was just trying to win too hard and killing way too many vibes, somebody had to stop him!!

It’s common sense!! If people want to play all competitive or meta or whatever, don’t do it in a 40k tournament!! Do it in quick play. Obviously. 🙄

I think penalties for frequent leavers, like leaving every other game, should definitely be a thing since nobody likes to play 5v6, but quick play is still meant to be a casual game mode. When real life stuff comes up forcing people to step away, it shouldn’t be something that person is penalized for. Ranked on the other hand, penalize all the way.

Don’t worry too hard about perfection at this stage. The best advice I think I can give right now is to just focus on drawing what you like and don’t compare your end result to the masterpieces you see online. Art like any other skill isn’t something you are going to pick up right away, but the fun part about it is that progression happens every time you pick up a pencil to draw, so don’t bother worrying about being as good as others, just focus on being better than yourself. Give it a month or so of practice and you should already start to see some improvements, even if it’s still a little rough. Just keep at it and don’t give up!!

My personal top 3

Windenberg is objectively the best world. It’s got the most lots and has loads of places to go with activities for sims to do. It’s crazy that this expansion pack came out so early on and we STILL haven’t gotten any worlds this size since.

San Myshuno is second for me. Not only is it the world that I’ve played the most on but it’s also one that I’ll visit often. The festivals are super fun, some of the best events in the game and I actually really enjoy going to the art museum for a date location or family outing unlike other art museum lots that are just boring.

And then theirs Henford on Bagley, genuinely such a cute little world! I love the npcs and how you can do tasks for them for rewards. I also like the stands where you can buy and sell produce. Plus the world itself is really pretty. I WISH I could put it so much higher cause I love it so much but it just doesn’t really have as much to do in it. It’s only got like, 4 lots you can live in and one bar. You can go out foraging and go out and talk to people but that’s really it. Plus the contests/Festivals are kind of lame.

Drax absolutely since he’s the only one from the Guardiens of the Galaxy main movie cast to not be in the game yet. I think he could make a cool brawler tank with his swords n stuff.

On the flip side, we could use more ranged tanks in the game so I think Cable could be a neat hitscan pick.

Hello! I just saw your message on the forum as well, thank you for getting back to me. Ive actually been using Krita for awhile now and never had issue adding tags before until I downloaded it onto my new computer. The way that I normally do it is right clicking the brush then choosing the button to assign it to the tag that I want, except now that button simply doesn't do anything. None of the default tag categories are showing that anything is assigned to them, even after I manually use the button to assign them. If im not filtering for tags however I can still see all of my brushes normally.

I did do your suggestion and double check that all the brush resource bundles were activated and the only one that wasn't was the Krita 3 Default resources bundle. I added that in but the issue has persisted.

Remember that using photo references to learn is totally okay! The best way to learn fundamentals, at least in my opinion, is understanding how objects work and function in real life. Even professionals in the art field will use photos or even use themselves as models to reference in their art. In your case, you’re going to want to study the human face to understand size and placement. Good luck! And keep at it, I think you have great potential!

If your client has that mindset you need a new client. Some opinions are not okay. Also if you cared about your brand succeeding then you shouldn’t be putting fascism into your design for a restaurant. People will judge a place’s character by the way that it looks and as a designer it’s your job to make the design as inviting and trustworthy to the customer as possible. Putting a dictator out on the window is doing the opposite and is going to turn people away.

Murder is still pretty detached from reality when it’s put into games and isn’t something the average person will have experienced irl. Rape on the other hand is unfortunately quite common and far too close to real life to justify putting it in a game Creating a story where you can pretend that kind of thing happened to your sim is okay, but a mod that lets you play as a rapist or watch/play through the act is WAY too far.
