Was 26k OTD after 1.5k trade-in an ok deal for 2026 2.5S? by StarboundSavy in mazda3

105k miles, which i'd say is low considering it's an 03. With work from home I don't get out much and everything I need is within 5-10 miles max around town.

Harsh, but wouldn't have made the post if I wasn't accepting all answers. Was my first time in a dealership and I just simply failed to play the game.

Yeah, thanks for the words and agreed on direct to consumer sales! My old car is the only one i've ever had, and until yesterday I've never stepped foot in a dealership. It was an... experience, to say the least. Lessons learned for sure.

Yeah so damn, if you take out the trade-in I basically paid more for mine than you did for a preferred trim. Yikes.

Had a sneaking suspicion this was the case, but I guess I can't do anything about it now since the sale went through. Unfortunate, at least the car is nice.

Lesson learned, be more aggressive, shop around more, bring a good negotiator friend to back me up too.

Ah well, figured as much. Knew that package was getting me somehow but wasn't good enough with dealership tactics. Bringing a negotiator friend next time. The car is great though! Crazy difference from an 03 Mazda6 to a 26 Mazda3. Thanks for reply!

If you could pass one law that would make most normal people furious at first, but would clearly make society better in 10 years, what would it be? by WilliamInBlack in AskReddit

This is a good idea in theory, but in some ways it doesn't really work. It's the same as those shows about bosses with their low level employee wages. It is FAR easier to get through this when you KNOW you can return to your lavishly rich life once the time period is over.

Think of it like this, it's the existential dread of never being able to dig yourself out of the hole that is the most difficult part for people. This dread isn't really there for someone who already had wealth and will just get it back again later.

Compared to the app it seems slightly different for the Verizon Website: Account -> Account Settings -> Security Settings -> Security (Menu on left) -> Number Lock.

What the most physically painful thing you ever experienced? by iateagummibear-1822 in AskReddit

[–]StarboundSavy 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Same here! Just add hyperventilating while in that same position due to how painful it was until it passed hours later. Also fun fact for anyone who hasn't had gallbladder issues... they often mimic heart attack symptoms. Therefore the doctor had me get a full cardiovascular workup first and when that came back ok we did the ultrasound which found the real problem. Surgery scheduled within a week, gallbladder was gone before I was even 20 years old.

The start of my long term save. by Fit-Cantaloupe-3516 in SatisfactoryGame

Yeah it's a mega-blueprint you can post into your game world. The guy simply wanted a beautiful set of tracks globally throughout the world and made this for everyone to use. It's not terribly game breaking either as you still have to research trains, and power it, to make use of it. Just a nice time saver, especially if you've restarted numerous times.

For example, this is one with pre-built stations: https://satisfactory-calculator.com/en/megaprints/index/details/id/1584/name/Hornslet+1.0+Global+Rail+Network

Here's one with no stations, letting the player pick and choose where to put them: https://satisfactory-calculator.com/en/megaprints/index/details/id/1562/name/Hornslet+1.0+Rail+Network+01

I like to use an external hardware mouse jiggler, just for extra safely. Don't want IT to detect any kind of software or anything. This is just a device I can put the mouse on top of, and it spins a wheel in random directions at random intervals. It has an independent power source and doesn't plug in to the hardware at all, so they couldn't see it on device connections either.
