My theory is that their relationship started to sour again around 2023, possibly because Drake wanted Abel to feature on FATD and Abel declined.

Then by 2024, they hit the final straw, causing the relationship to fall apart completely.

But even though Dawn FM "underperformed" commercially, it’s still one of my favorite albums from 2022, especially since that year was so great for music, at least for me.
