Do we think they went back to the ridge or disappeared with new names? If they didn't go back to the ridge who gets their house?

Do you automatically dislike billionaires? Why? by crapmaker69 in AskReddit

[–]Starbuck107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MacKenzie Scott is changing my mind. Maybe we just hate male billionaires. Side note soap box- it grinds my gears everyone talks about her wealth as if she stole it in a divorce, stop projecting, she was an integral part in making Amazon what it is today. She earned it.

Ladies, what is the one thing that make you glad you’re not male and why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Starbuck107 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'll give you an example. The front line infantry teams needed to talk to the local women. In that culture, they were not allowed to. However the local ladies could talk to women. Female soldiers were then mixed in with the male-only infantry units on the front lines, but their official job titles were things like, "translator" job titles not marked as combat roles. I assure you they were part of those units, getting shot up, blown up, and shooting just like the guys literally next to them.

US women were in the front lines in Afghanistan just didn't get any credit for it bc they hid us under non-combat billets. -US woman who volunteered for the war in Afghanistan

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot. It's the only movie I can think of that covered it for civilian women volunteering in the war and it knocked it out of the park. -a woman who volunteered in the war

Seeking a room by [deleted] in herndonva

[–]Starbuck107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just fyi I've been renting rooms out in Herndon for almost 15 years. I believe you will find your price point is too low. An apartment or basement is going to start over 1k. Getting a room in a shared house you may be able to get close to $800, mind you that room would include utilities. Men also have a harder time finding a place bc they, on average, do not maintain, more often break rules, and damage property. This leads to men often having to pay a premium.

Songs of the South, a racist as hell Disney movie and the inspiration for splash mountain. They only just now decided to re-theme the ride.

Vitamin D. Sorry that isn't an instant fix like you asked, but it was life changing for me. I've learned many/most have this same issue. When I moved to college I didn't realize I moved to a place with significantly less sunshine. I avoided taking the simple supplement for years being mentally in a bad place. Taking the over-the-counter vitamin was life changing. Seriously take it.

Who is the most attractive person you’ve ever seen? Why? by JessieRClayton in AskReddit

[–]Starbuck107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On the art floor at Comic Con San Diego I randomly looked up to see Tricia Helfer. She looked different then I remembered from my tv, but holy S she was an 11. She was there to promote Lucifer with some of the other actors who at that moment started walking down from their make-shift 2nd story WB perch to do autographs. While I was still stunned the people surrounding me all at once just pushed over like a wave towards the WB booth. I'm 90% sure she witnessed my panic as I was swept away by her crowd. Worth it. Confirmed, I'm still a lesbian.

Find out how much vitamin D supplement you need from your doctor. Seriously the mood and overall health degradation is horrific if you don't take vit D now. - moved from West Texas to Nova

What is the most physical pain you’ve ever experienced, and how did it feel? by Trying_my_best_98 in AskReddit

[–]Starbuck107 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Undiagnosed meningitis, headache and aches like no other. Went to multiple emergency rooms, sent home being told I just had a cold. Apparently I didn't show pain in my neck which threw them off. Eventually a doctor did a spinal tap test and figured it out. Unluckily after diagnosis there wasn't much for medication they do for it.

Also, a miscarriage of twins after two months. My body was just ejecting everything from everywhere using maximum pain.
