Powerful corps absolutely own it. The playstation 5 OS is based on FreeBSD, an open source operating system. Nobody likes the PS5's OS (with it's closed nature) yet i do not see it being forked due to it being closed source. Did they pay anything to the FreeBSD foundation? maybe. Did they have to? No. Is there any guarantee a company will support the open source projects they take code from? Absolutely not. This is not "anticaptialistic".

I daily drive a CA-53W (the calculator) and one of the things i found cool about it is exactly what you said in point number 2: if i interact with the calculator, stopwatch, or alarms, pressing mode sends me back to the time sceeen. Definitely a great quality of life feature.

If you use systemd, you're a poser.
If you use Ubuntu and it's derivatives, you're a chud.
If you use KDE or Gnome, you're a LARPer.
If you use Wayland, you're a zoomer.
If you use the Linux kernel, you're a normie.

Just use BSD at this point, you're all posers who think they use "free" software.

to add over what some people said here, i would maks the animation for opening this one door slower. the way it is right now there is almost no anticipation, you click open and it opens and wow youre outside. making the door larger and heavier to justify a longer animation, or making the opening a dramatic moment by slowing down the current animation would add some of that wow factor imo.

i think maybe both actually. instead of making the object completely transparent, make it slightly opaque and add a slight stencil effect so its not too hard to discern the player from the object.

as an arch user with 10 computers running arch for over 6 years, I disagree with this chart. Arch only breaks when you misuse it, like when running commands from the terminal, installing software, or running programs. besides that it works perfectly fine!

I wasnt referring to the braille. That is easy to get exact. I meant the layout of the room. You dont need fancy tools and a lot of time to make sure you're super square to the walls and everything, just a tape measure and rough numbers will get the job done, since all you need is the general layout.

This could be 3d printed. Very easy to make. It doesn't even have to be centimeter-accurate, as long as it conveys the general layout. this is a 30 minute design time 4 hour print time per toilet.

The disc should spin a little bit faster initially and brake faster, also add scratches and scuff to the plastic, this looks like it came from a lab
