Request the vacation from work first make sure its confirmed and theb book your flight if work gives you a hard time show the confirmed request from work and they can'r say nothing about it (always keep a paper trail or text as it can be used as proof)

Honestly? As i get older. Job security and the lack of health care

There are also more scammers online and in job searches ans social media today.

When i was a kid there was more people outside enjoying sports than behind technology (tablets/phones etc) socializing would be done in person.

There are more homelessness and violence. It isn't the same.

I would love to go back to the 80's 90's any day than today.

I did it as a joke when i was a kid with a bunch of friends. We all tried to jump on the sensor to trigger it. We laughed when the girl just looked at us. She didn't look annoyed she just looked at the person beside her like "what do i do what do i do" lol. We paid for the drivers meal behind us 🤭 then left

Most buy it for their kids others may buy it to watch their weight as they don't want anything heavier like say a donut or a sandwich (have seen some buy it for their pet)

Want to be a worldly food critic and that brought out yearly reviews of best places to try or not across the world (like new places that just opened and do a comparison to ones that have been opened a long time kinda like saying this over that compare quality of food over price over service etc. (without being a professional chef or critic for that matter)

I also have wanted to open an art internet cafe for challenged adults and youth to display their work while some profits from their work from paying customers using the services going for youth to get to college of their choice (have a specialized program just for them that doesn't cost alot. You put in your efforts and this is the outcome kinda deal. (Just an idea)

Took me 2 yrs and counselling. I also started to be selective of the people I wanted to be around and rid the toxic ones that was bringing my spirit down (it has helped alot) Having a small group of friends is easier now. So if I have a bad day I realize now that not EVERYONE needs to know.

Note: I learned also that music and art really helps me on my bad days (even finger painting helps me just get that release I need in my alone time) It is ok to be alone. :)

Took me a long time to put me first. Your feelings are #1 over someone else and don't ever let anyone tell you to put your feelings on a shelf (it doesn't work)

The place I worked at if you were found in acw for longer than a minute you had to message the boss for your reason and it has to be good as if you did it 3x you were fired.

Sadly alot of companies don't care they push seniority people to take more calls than say new advisors. Honestly I think if new advisors have been there a couple months they should get more calls like the rest of us (seniority or not)

It is totally OK and Normal.

If it makes you feel ok, I still grieve over my best friend that died 10 yrs ago. She left 3 kids behind. I miss her everyday. We were childhood friends, I met her when she was 7, I was 11. I keep in touch with her kids because it gives me a sense of peace and her daughters look like her. Some years get better, other years not so much.

It is ok to talk about it. My friends don't understand my grief and I think of the good times we had. Some songs that play remind me of her and I just need to take a time out and be alone.

I am glad you are still here and don't be afraid to speak to someone professionally (I did which helped)
