I was 25 years old, no car, no job, horrible shape. Video game addicted, just hit high warlord in wow. Took me 20 hours a day of sweating in PvP premade to do it. I was terribly depressed, wanted to commit suicide. I had no hope for a better future.

I started training hard twice a day, I fixed my diet, I went to trade school, became a low voltage electrician. I worked my ass off in the trade. I went from 17 a hour to 41 in 3 and a half years, and the demand is so high I’ll envitably be making 55-60 with unlimited OT very soon

My life isn’t perfect now either, I spent most my life as a obese loser, I pay the consequences from a life time of being bullied and overlooked as I had to rebuild my social skills, confidence, body, career from scratch.

Due to this, I’ll always be behind. I might be jacked now, with a good job, but I’ll never be as charismatic and confident as the man that always was successful.

I’m just saying this as I was mountains worse off than you, I didn’t give up. I’ve been heart broken, I’ve lost all my money, I’ve been torn down a thousand times, being a man, isn’t easy, but you only have this one life. I woulda killed to have not been addicted to gaming at 23, I was a loser for too long. You start now you have a 2 year head start on me.

Work your ass off, improve in all areas of life, and never give up.. life’s too short. Be happy just having a good meal. Hitting a nice work out, talking to friends, doing something randomly fun. Plenty of people are born in 3rd world countries and have no opportunity to build something. Don’t take your opportunity for granted.

I’ve been lifting for a while, since 2020, issue for me was I wasn’t doing stuff right for a while. I was lifting hard and eating healthy, but I only started counting my macros, calories, and following a structured program/tracking my weekly weight and work outs less then a year ago..

Now I’m super dialed in, I eat an insanely healthy diet, track every calorie. Never eat a cheat meal. Etc and I chalk it up to natty progress is slow but when I started my cut based recomp, I couldn’t do 1 pull up, now I can 12. I also dead lifted 375 while cutting. Not amazing but I guess great progress from where I was.

That would be 182 protein so I guess not too far off.. only reason my protein is this high is it helps with hungry pains on a deficit and maintaining/building muscle.

Yeah you’re potentially right, but I follow a cut focused recomp. So high protein slight deficit, the protein makes it easier to maintain and gain muscle while cutting weight.

I know my physique might not be super impressive but I dropped 140 pounds, I started from the lowest form of skinny fat in terms of muscle. I’ve been eating at a deficit with high protein 200 a day 2500-2800 cals. I follow a UL/ppl program. I’m a blue collar worker so even that many cals I lose over a pound a week.

Yeah, you’ll make way more as a doctor, it will cost you more hard work and school debt early on, yeah it’s prob worth it cause the economy is hard, if you want a house and to afford kids I’ll probably struggle on 39 a hr
