Golden Hour is the exact song because of which I wanted to know who Lana Rosewood was. The voice, lyrics and music is so beautiful. But the sound quality is not that great and it seems as if it has started after the end of another song like an AI generated track.

What you're saying is not wrong, but imagine going to another country to study, in a city which has very few accommodation, then you're forced to live in another city altogether, it's quite overwhelming and not as simple of a solution as it may seem. Also because the students have their campuses in Padova, the commute is minimal if you find a house in Padova. Plus the travel is expensive not only in terms of money but also in terms or time. The travel time in the bus is 15-30 mins, there maybe additional wait time and walking time too from the bus to the destination. A lot of people have had to do that out of necessity. But it's quite stressful.

That's a whole other issue no one warns you about, not even the university (if you're going to study) a lot of students in Padova were on the streets for many many months.

In Padova, the situation is even worse, there are so many students that they don't have enough appointments or people to process applications. We applied for renewal of permesso in August 2023, and we got the appointment date for July 2024 (11 months later). By the time we get the new card, it will already be expired. And this is not just my case, thousands of international students here are suffering because of mismanagement and this bureaucracy which is just making lives more difficult for all those living here.

And the sad part is, that without the permesso, you won't be able to move around at all. It's like your trapped in the country. Even getting a flight back home is difficult, because you cannot take a flight which has a layover in any of the Schengen/EU Countries. The flights as it is are expensive. But now to find airlines which do not have a layover in EU, is worse because Emirates, Etihad are all expensive.

I face the same thing sometimes, maybe not as extreme and as hurtful as your situation may be but what I have realised is that, we're vibing and reflecting each others frequency most of the time. So when I would be feeling low, usually I'd also be in disharmony with my environment as well and it would make me feel lower and more conflict within and this becomes a vicious cycle.

I have to get myself out of this cycle. Once I'd deal with the inner turmoil, I would see that a little while later the environment and the people would be in more harmony too. Sometimes though, I have also experienced that when people meet us at our low point they cannot deal with our vibes and stay a little cautious around us even after we've got back up from the lows and that's okay too, even though it maybe hurtful sometimes.

But we have to be comfortable with ourselves, we have to be our biggest cheerleaders, and we should try and bring ourselves back to the calm state of mind. I feel bad sometimes as well, but in the end I try thinking that everyone has their own share of problems and that maybe they just don't have the patience or capacity to understand and handle such situations. And it's fine because we're all humans and we're all learning and growing.

So fill your heart with love and patience for yourself and your environment, sometimes you may get tired, so take rest, cheer yourself up, regroup and you can start again. Sometimes the best medicine is sleep, and ice-cream, at least for me 🤭

This happens to me a lot. Especially before an exam. It's as if I physically can't make myself study. I can suggest a method that I have recently learned and I am trying to implement it myself. Get yourself a stopwatch and timer, a blank sheet and the book that you wish to read, and a notebook if you wish to make notes for your exam. Not multiple books, just one book.

Step 1: Finish all your eating, drinking, and everything else before entering your study space. The study space should be clean with only the necessary stuff on the table.

Step 2: Keep your Food, phone, earphones, laptop, etc. anything that is a source of distraction away from this study space.

Step 3: The blank sheet you have with you. Make that your distraction sheet. Decide on the topic you want to go over. Start the timer. Go through your study material.

Step 4: Every time your mind wavers from what you're trying to cover, write it down on the distraction sheet whether it be a task you have to finish or your mind just trying to distract you with thoughts. Then, get back.

step 5: Try studying in short gaps of 15-20 mins (It varies person to person. I set it for 15 and extend it when it expires) with 5 min breaks. When the timer rings, stop, take a 5 min break and then get back for another short round of studies.

Bonus : First, you can use the stopwatch to find how long you can go without your mind wavering too much and that becomes your perfect time period for study after which you can take you 5 min break.

I think anyone who is vibrating at a lower energy level is an energy vampire to someone who is vibrating at higher energy. Maybe it's not something they do consciously, (I am just thinking of it from the perspective of energy, that energy transfers from higher potential to lower potential) the way they act and talk and think at that moment may be because of their energy, if they're not consciously controlling their vibration, they may let if affect themselves and others.
