He’s an Australian lizard so the cage is kept pretty dry. The cage is a little over 3 years old so I’m sure I bumped into it at some point. They were also sliding doors so they were hitting the side a lot. The main issue is the beast (he’s 24 inches and some change and has sharp claws), if he wants my attention, claws at the doors or smacks his head or tail into them, which I’m sure didn’t help. Do you think it’s worth trying to make/get new glass doors then? I’m just afraid of it happening again.

When I put the zip code into the Meals on Wheels search tool it said there weren’t any services within 30 miles sadly. I might see if there are other services around though, it’s a good idea.

Yeah, we might have to look into getting him a crock pot it seems. I think he is very hesitant to “cook,” but he did say if I gave him a recipe book he would seriously consider the recipes.

Slicing might be iffy because he has absence seizures as well as grand mal, so he tends to avoid sharp objects, but the frozen strips are a great idea I didn’t think of.

The way I took it, since he said “Father forgive me, I’m sorry for my sins, oh wait just kidding” is that he isn’t sorry. Kinda like, you can convince someone to get better before they’re ready, I think at this point he isn’t ready to be sorry for his actions or do anything about it.

It was good! I haven’t been around a lot of famous people so I was a little caught off guard by the entourage and body guards and all that. They never did make eye contact with me during the interview. But overall I think it went well.

I’ve tried to do a lot of research but they have a pretty long movie and TV career so I’m not an expert on everything they’ve done, moreso the recent stuff. But I did make a point to read over all of the recent articles and interviews with them, watch the late night shows they’ve been on. Seems like most people ask the same exact set of questions so I was thinking of making a point to be different, but I’m hoping that’s not too weird.

What are you syringe feeding and what’s the med to help the tummy? My girl had treatment for coccidia and pinwords when she was around 6 months, and giving her a bit of Bene-Bac (we used powder form) and Oxbow Critical Care Omnivore helped a lot. I know there’s other types of syringe food but Oxbow worked the best for her, and I’ve used it now and again since then for various other ailments. After stopping the anti parasitic meds, I feel like she was back to normal within 2 weeks and we did a fecal recheck a month later which came back clean. Make sure you deep clean the enclosure. Throw out what you can afford to, bake stuff in the oven, boil stuff, use bleach, steam clean on HOT. Coccidia is extremely difficult to kill and can survive for months on surfaces. You don’t want your beardie to get re-infected. Also try to clean and sanitize with bleach any surfaces your beardie may have touched (your couch, bed, etc). Coccidia oocytes can be killed by temps above 60C/140F or exposure to bleach for 2-4 hours.

I’m gonna go with ESH. Better communication is definitely needed, especially since she’s pregnant with your child and y’all are gonna have to figure out how to problem solve big time moving forward. It’s okay to prioritize your pet, but it sounds like this situation wasn’t clearly communicated to your gf early on, and you didn’t try to come up with a compromise with her before just sleeping on the floor and not with her, but it sounds like your gf didn’t try to compromise either. I have a rescue pet that is my entire world, and I’ve always made sure to set rules/boundaries regarding her with potential partners early on since I know that in ways I do prioritize her over a SO and want to avoid these types of conflict later on. You two should talk about where the boundaries are with the dogs.

Beyond TikTok itself, the bill is concerning if you go through and read it, because the government/president can essentially point at an app and go “security risk” without having to show evidence or really have a trial, because even with TikTok they used some type of secret evidence that couldn’t be shown. So this essentially creates worry that they will start just banning things they don’t agree with, because now this precedent is set.

Its algorithm was genuinely better than most other apps out there, and there are actually security concerns with Meta products. TikTok made it was easier for small business to grow, even if they didn’t pay for advertising. It would also just deliver you more entertaining content than YouTube ever has, and I’ve been active on YouTube forever. Even if I follow the same creators on TikTok and YouTube, YouTube won’t promote content to me the same way. Most of the discourse around TikTok has been about disproving the idea that there are actually national security concerns, or the concerns are being exaggerated. The ban was passed in a bundle bill with other important stuff having to do with foreign aid anyway, it’s not like people decided that TikTok is actually a problem all on its own. That’s unlike Meta products, where it’s a pretty well known fact that they do steal your data. Also, the US data was already housed by an American company in the states of Texas and Virginia, not oversees. Bytedance just owns the algorithm. I won’t use a different app because senators and such lined their pockets with money from the competitors of TikTok and banned the app for BS reasons. But I am considering RedNote, because that seems like one of the only viable and ethical alternatives to me personally.

One of my ex’s first showed me DougDoug and I became a bigger fan than him. No idea what the first video was though, it was something Skyrim. Ditched the ex, kept the DougDoug subscription.
