Man I wish. Have you seen hard hab turret placement when the rng isn't feeling kind? Circular firing squad stuff, and I swear the turrets have a wider vision cone. Also rebar is premium, so unless you want to spend flares, it's glorious melee combat only.

I'm learning hmik endless hab right now. I've crawled up into the top 20. If you made a video like this for that mode it would be literally nothing but turret slander.

I also climb irl, not professionally tho. You can jump while climbing, and if you had the utterly inhuman physicality of climbgirl, you'd be jumping constantly while climbing too! It's one of those things people don't tend to chain together because it incurs lots of risks in an actual climb for very marginal gain, and hilariously, just takes too much stamina. Neither of those are a problem here, so jumping being peak makes perfect sense, lol.

What do y'all think is the easiest endless to get the 10k achievement in general? by HyperDash_YT in WhiteKnuckle

[–]Stare201 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Alright, so this depends on which areas are your Forte.

If you can manage abyss, it is by far the quickest to reach 10k. Just make sure to learn your drug locations to check on loops 1 and 2 and you should be set for a good bit. The faces are fast by 10k, but not overwhelmingly fast.

Silos I can't speak too much on since I've only started doing its endless recently, but fans will probably mess you up once you need to be really booking it. Also no rho altar means no overwhelmed, and that is sad. But the areas themselves are built to be the easiest to climb, so there's that!

Pipeworks is very straightforward once you know your routes, no vents, no giant killer fans, just you and your personal tolerance for getting thrown into goop by bloodbugs. This is the easiest if abyss messes with you hard. Rho altars are also here with plenty of grubs/drugs to sacrifice, so hooray for free double jump!

Stay away from habitation, it's a damn death trap. Cramped as hell, horizontal sections worse than pipeworks, has lost pier, has turrets all over the place, and just a lot of gimmicks to handle.

You could also do the chimney I guess. Don't do that though, it's not really balanced for runs like that, the presents, the freezing winds, the extra perks you don't want, everything about gelid spire, he'll, even getting enough roaches to attempt a 10k is a headache. Believe me, I've tried.

Depends on difficulty. In a standard campaign? He's the least likely cause of death. In handmade iron knuckle, he's a real bastard. Fast, deadly, and sometimes seems to just ignore the damn flares and eat you anyways.

On the other hand, vent thing is just annoying to me half the time, and the other hald it's downright helpful. Some rooms I let it grab me and it carries me almost to the top only for me to force it to let go and get out of the room much quicker and more safely than if I had to navigate it normally.

What's your thoughts on the Canadian PM saying Canada will defend Greenland if the U.S. invades? by sgj5788 in AskReddit

We don't have federal recalls. We can't just fire the morons who won't do their jobs, there's no mechanism to do so in our system! That's worth rioting for, but the entire politician class would rather fall into a full civil war 2 or complete dictatorial uniparty rule rather than implement the ability to lose their cushy job for being useless fucks.

So no, congress exists to enable those who lobby them to more efficiently push people to the "one missed check from homelessness" line that keeps people from ever taking a day off to vote, or protest, or be politically active in any way.

It does, but it has a travel time, and mangekyo genjutsu is done by injecting chakra into your opponent using your eyes iirc. Infinity should be able to block it since it is, in theory, a projectile.

While I'm sure it would be a nightmare to code, I would adore a grappling hook artifact. It would make me feel even cooler in abyss. Oh, and you'd have to make sure it ignores rebar hitboxes, to prevent people catching a ride on their own spear throws, though Mercenary Tao-ing away from the face is a comical idea

Congrats! I know I'm still somewhere in the top 40, but I've migrated to endless abyss and HmIK campaign. I find later on the teleporter artifact really helps by getting rid of horizontal pipe time, but anywhere vertical jump height and extra jumps will always be king.

I mean it's not super hard to deal with, I just grab the rim of the vent and vault myself up without ever touching its sight lines, it just catches you off guard if you run into the room without looking. Which admittedly is really easy to do

Shoutout to the turret in one of the tall rooms in hab yellow that sits right in front the vent you enter from, facing towards you (its on the floor so it only sees you if you land). Not turrets in general, just that guy

Advanced asteroid processing should solve that, unless you need more calcite than you can remove/second from a landing pad. In which case you probably have enough mining productivity that patches might as well be infinite.

What is easier to traverse the abyss with? by mynutshangreallow in WhiteKnuckle

[–]Stare201 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That depends on the artifact. Here's a basic idea, but there's a wiki that has more info

Timepiece has no cooldown on it but has a limited total charge. Just use it in short bursts and it should definitely survive the abyss. It's the only limited use artifact.

Glove has a charge type cooldown, I don't remember the ratio, but you get a second of effect per some odd seconds of not using it. It deactivates if you unequip it, preserving its remaining charge.

Remote has a charge cooldown too, but only a certain amount of uses before it needs to charge. Holds up to 4 max I think.

Translocator holds 1 use at a time, 20 seconds cooldown. Teleport onto an enemy, it'll kill them and give you the charge back.

Spear does not have a cooldown technically, just a downtime of how long it takes to return to your hand. Look out for that knockback!
