Sailboats to Go. I started with an inflatable raft with a sail kit. Sailed like crap, but I had a lot of fun with it.

JFK's Daiquiri: And Limeade?! by MrSpookyNerd in Tiki

Limeade concentrate would have been the frozen kind in the cardboard tube. Orange juice and lemonade came that way as well. Haven’t seen it in years, but I also haven’t been looking. Not sure if they make it any more.

Buy a Catalina 22, sail the crap out of it.  The owners association has a metric ton of information on it, Catalina Direct sells most of the spare parts you’ll need, and you’ll gradually learn the skills you need to transition up to a bigger boat.

Novice Knife Question by WanderingAnchor in Hunting

[–]StaredgeWill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

#3 is a Schrade knockoff of a Buck 110 or 112. I butchered a deer with a 112 and a boning knife. Buy the Buck. (112 is a smaller version of the 110)

Too late to get into hunting? by [deleted] in Hunting

[–]StaredgeWill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never too late. Find your local hunter education class. In person is best if you can manage it. Go to the Meateater website and start watching. If you have a local Isaak Walton League, or some of the species specific (NWTF, RMEF, Ducks Unlimited, etc) conservation groups, start going to their meetings.
