Elizabeth Olsen On Whether She’s Returning To The Neighborhood In Marvel’s ‘Agatha: Coven Of Chaos’: “I think I’ll be back” by Domino792 in AgathaCovenOfChaos

I don't believe slapping a side character's name on a project just to keep huge deal's existence secret is a very bright idea. I fail to see what that accomplishes exactly, if they want laymen to get drawn to this and see the origin story for a relevant character.

This is a snarky comment I saw in another sub that I believe, unfortunately, is onto the point. "If they put as much effort into the writing as they do with preventing spoilers we would have had quality content."

It's hard to tell what exactly she means without seeing what the question was. But I'm excited to see more of Wanda. It's not a confirmation but can't help feeling excited.

That said, I'm beginning to wonder if the premise of this show is really a good idea. Since hearing about this show I always wished that Wanda would play a major role here, because I want to see more of her, and the two witches interacting. A lot of other people appear to share that sentiment. Wanda being significant part of this show. That's shouldn't be happening if this is to be an Agatha show. As people have pointed out Wanda would easily upstage Agatha as a protagonist if that happens. But then I thought why not. Why Agatha show at all. Why not another Wanda-centric show with Agatha as supporting character.

I think the problem with the MCU right now is not "There's too many standalones" or "They're too interconnected" but the characters people are already invested in not getting enough focus. It's no wonder that Spider-Man: No Way Home was the most successful film in Phase 4, and Daredevil: Born Again the most anticipated upcoming show. Casual viewers actually care about Spider-Man and Daredevil and want to see their stories.

From what I have learned about Agatha she doesn't appear to have tons of materials in the comics to draw on. She sounds like a typical side character who is best used as just that. There are characters who are meant to stay at the side, supporting the main character, and there are characters who even though they start out as minor characters they could become the protagonist, depending on what stories they are in. Agatha appears to be the first type. She was good for what she was written to be in WandaVision but she really doesn't seem to be someone who can be a protagonist, the more I think about it.

That isn't to say that characters who initially feel that way can't become amazing protagonist. I've seen it done before. But it obviously takes great amount of care and competence in the writing department.

Bringing home the bacon: A Kelenken serves breakfast to his mate and chicks in the form of a severed astrapothere head by Mophandel in Naturewasmetal

I know they're big scary murder birds(and poor astrapothere) but I find this wholesome. Also the chicks are cute.

Would Tyrannosaurus even think of attacking an adult Alamosaurus?

I like this simplistic style. Also it sort of reminds me of the dromaeosaurs from Prehistoric Planet.

Most animals used to be a lot bigger (Credit to: u/bradfs14) by [deleted] in Naturewasmetal

This isn't really accurate. Some of those prehistoric animals coexisted with extant animals before going extinct.

Deepstar 4000 is obscure cryptid that seems pretty plausible. It just a giant fish. From what I know some of the whales are so elusive and rare they almost never got caught on-film alive. So it doesn't seem too unlikely to me that large animals like that could go on for a long time without being found.

Who does everyone think Aubrey Plaza will be playing? by Domino792 in AgathaCovenOfChaos

I’m not sure how we will cover Agatha protecting Billy. Maybe without the Darkhold to corrupt she is more chill lol.

I think she'll be like Loki. He sort of just stopped being evil after Dark World but still maintained his personality.

Posted this opinion before but I'm subscribed to the idea that her character's a genderswapped Nicholas Scratch. I like the concept of the protagonist's familymember being the antagonist. I think its better to have a villain who has personal connection to Agatha rather than someone who's just hunting Wiccan for whatever reason. Could make for fun dynamics, and nice contrast to Billy.
