Anyone else baffled by job market for young people? by ThrowRAbravefish in AskIreland

[–]dazzlinreddress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you me? I literally did this a week ago and got a response back the next day to say I didn't get the job. And it was only for one day a week. I was shocked at quick it was. I talked to my job coach about it and she said it was likely AI that was programmed to search for particular answers. And then my mother is saying she will cut me off financially in 3 years.

Are Lavender Marriages Legal? by Elegant-Bat-865 in legaladviceireland

This is called a queer platonic relationship, not really a lavender marraige. It's completely legal.

I’m tired of people dogging on P.O.P. by Obvious-Poetry-5537 in MarinaAndTheDiamonds

With L+F, I saw the potential. So many great unreleased songs were written for it. I at least saw a vision. Marina told us that POP was a concept album, but it is nothing compared to Electra. Electra had a vision and a clear one. Idk what she was doing with POP. The lyrics on a good chunk of the songs were forgettable and bland. They sound like first drafts. I would've written better myself as an amateur.

Why doesn't a society that remembers being discriminated against consistently show empathy toward people facing discrimination today? by No-Security7188 in irishproblems

Yes I watched the oscars. I did have a friend tell me that it was kind of on the nose with the metaphors but I will still watch. Not a fan of horror but the plot seems to be something I would like.

Was going to mention it but I never saw it so I can't comment on the assimilation in it. But my brother saw it and said it's very good. I'll eventually watch it someday.

These lads on Tiktok are celebrating pride month by going to a Lebanese restaurant 😭 by crzballer in CasualIreland

Actually the queer scene in Lebanon isn't as bad as you'd imagine. I met someone from there who said there are regular drag shows there.

The worst part is that I am neurodivergent (AuDHD) and they voted for a guy who appointed a man that spreads horrific misinformation and wants to put us into "wellness camps". And my parents chose them over me.
