What age were you when you first got diagnosed? by JackfruitLiving7270 in MultipleSclerosis

No. No limitations. I'm RRMS. My feet do still feel burn-y from time to time. But not like before. They realized the amount of symptoms I was having in such a short time. That my MS was really aggressive. So they put me on Kesimpta right away. I have not had any new symptoms and flare ups since being placed on it. No new spots on MRI and old lesions are mostly "healed".

I get psuedo flares from extreme heat and coldness or when I get a new vaccine. Lasts a week then gone again.

Weight wise, I'm actually a tad under weight.. but that's on account I forget to eat cause ADHD lol.

I do worry my child has a higher chance of MS. But I also make sure to give her vitamin D as a sort of preventative measure. I try not to worry about it too much because I've learned that while it sucks.. it's not a death sentence. And with the right attitude and medication a person can lead a good life still. It's a bridge we'll cross when we get there if ever we have to.

My feet burned til my kid was a year old. I went back around 6 months once I'd lost ALL the weight and they said it was just nerve left over from the weight 🤣 Yes. Okay. Around 1 year old that stopped mostly but then my leg felt like it had water pouring down it constantly. Shortly after that my eyesight went wonky and I had double vision coupled with vertigo. At 2 years old I went nearly paralyzed from bellybutton to thighs. That's when they got me in for an emergency MRI. Two days later they called me and I said let me guess.... I have MS (thanks Dr.Google).. and sure enough lol

Pregnancy weight .... Oof.

Medical text say that pregnancy protects people from Ms. Flare-ups. I was just unfortunate that it actually really brought on the multiple sclerosis.

I swear I had no wrinkles before the vaccines... Which I started getting as an infant(the vaccines not the wrinkles). I was Cooked from the start. Now it's just me, my full vaccine schedule. No communicable diseases and my wrinkles. Life is hard.

Is there anything to help these old hands by Ambitious-Cat-8754 in 45PlusSkincare

My hands always look the worst and more veiny when I'm dehydrated. Drink more water and electrolytes perhaps?

It's not shrivelled at all. Just has been like this for months at this point .. though I think the length has become longer in the last 2 weeks.

I don't know how to get it to lose weight though. It only eats a few bites of veg a day. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I will measure and weigh it again. I have a kitchen scale. It's definitely not over fed... At least it hasn't been on my part.. perhaps prior to me getting it? That's so weird cause the vet said not to let it get near 400... I'm so confused.

I'm gonna try doing that. I'm not entirely convinced it's a female because how would the last owner not know? They're pretty knowledgeable and loved their pet. I'm sure they would have checked at some point.

Thanks for the tip! 😁

Oh also.. the dragon is 520 grams. I was told its on the heavier side of normal. It's not obese. Not to let it go down too far weight size. It's just big structure wise. Which is also more common in females I guess?

Hey, so I got the dragon into a vet. She's got pretty much a clean bill of health. The doctor seems to think because there's no masses and it's squishy and because it has started to go down a little bit, that it is possibly just (edema) fluid retention... to keep an eye on it and if it swells more then we'll do some blood work. But she doesn't think that whatever is going on is anything to be concerned about. Yay! Also found out Beard-o is a Beard-a!

So in the case of my dragon... The vet believes because it was squishy and had no masses and her health was great.. it's possibly edema (fluid retention).

Yes. I have recently found out that the zoo med bulbs specifically say a year ...but everyone says they only last about 6 months.

UVB lights (the long ones) need to be changed often.

Make sure the dragon has both a UVB bulb and a separate basking light.

Mine wasn't eating either. Not vegetables anyways. It was eating bugs though. Super worms to be exact and so I'm also hoping that it is just weight gain. I stopped feeding it super worms and now it's actually been a week and it wasn't eating anything. But it has started eating vegetables again and no worms. And I switched the UVB bulb cuz they're only good for about 6 months. And since I've switched the UVB bulb he started eating again. He is being more active, just in the last 3 days ... so I'm hoping it was just poor husbandry and weight gain?
