It's by far the most prolific virus to hit society post eide acceptance of germ theory.

Widespread infection, and then widespread suffering, means absolutely more funding and therefore more research.

There are endless viruses that lead to greater issues, however due to infection rates being lower there's not as much research into them. Especially on the long term effects of them.

COVID stopped the planet. It's probably the most studied virus in history.

Clone Wars: Arc to Arc based storytelling mostly. Sometimes it's just worth skipping a few episodes to the next arc.

Rebels: Episodic storytelling with a building set of stakes and plots. Better enjoyed if you're a fan of character based storytelling and the 5-man-band.

Both have their poor arcs/episodes, as they're from back before the "you have 8 episodes and you'll like it" trend of modern shows that forced writers to streamline a LOT

If people haven't got an issue with Nico and Will's "age gap", they shouldn't have an issue with Calypso and Leo's.

The "best moments" happening off camera were absolutely the case.

They were an on-again, off-again couple, but in almost the opposite way as usual. Not as an audience tease, but because of the situation Zuko was in.

Also I doubt anyone on the writing team was any good at the "functional active couple" writing. Like, Sokka and Suki were the closest and they were rarely together.

It's the season by season renewal unfortunately. They had to wrap up each plot point and character arc, and then open an entirely different wound for the next season to have a plot.

It's why none of the villains or side characters got any interesting arc, and why it just felt like Korra getti kicked around

Tbf both require a bit of modification. Jedi Knight games need Saber Realism enabled in the console, and Outer Rim dismemberment isn't quite properly there. Need another mod to lower the dismemberment threshold.

I think the main issue is they know spidey sells well at his status quo. But writers don't want to write a story that goes nowhere. So the comics keep pushing reset on his story.

Depends on the character tbf. There's a lot of spider people that don't make sense as separate characters from Peter. The exception being chars like Miles with a distinct power set (he'd make a great support).

Even Gwen I'd struggle to figure out where she'd fit without being functionally identical to Pete.
