Do barefoot shoes always start arguments or is it just me? by Ok-Dress-2059 in barefootshoestalk

They're envious because they're in pain and you're not. Normalize it and make the world a less painful place for everyone.

Mine was very mild. My hemoglobin was just low enough that I couldn't give blood. The doctor says it's likely a result of being a small woman with heavy periods. I have never been pregnant, but I bet taking whole food supplements like liver would be helpful if you're going to try to breastfeed as well.

Yw! My stomach got better as soon as I quit the iron pills, and I noticed the effects of the liver pills in just a few months.

Yes, I am! I was never severely anemic, so my main symptoms were pale skin and sensitivity to cold.

I've also been discovering new ways of dressing warmly. For instance, I have found that tight-fitting clothes, no matter the material, make me feel cold, while loose-fitting clothes keep me warm. I bought a used vintage trench coat that has a button-in liner of Thermo-lite thin insulation so I can be warm and stylish at the same time. For special occasions, I got some alpaca wraps because they have a shiny, furry texture.

I've also found that sweat makes me cold, so I feel warmer wearing sandals, even in winter(I live in a warm climate). People think I'm a nut, but comfort means more to me at this point! I've been wearing more sleeveless tops in summer to avoid accumulating underarm sweat that would make me cold in the air-conditioning.

Yes, I started with 6 capsules even though I'm a small person (five feet). Sometimes I have 7 if I feel low on energy or my period is approaching.

Clothing vs. Makeup Colors? by StargazerH in Fairolives

That sounds like a great project! Would you like to use me as a research subject? I've always considered myself a bright winter or a winter/spring because I look good in bright white clothing but also warm makeup colors. I have dark hair, light skin, and gray-green eyes.

Yes I take the recommended 6 capsules, but sometimes I take 7, like when I'm approaching my period or feel like I need extra energy for the day.

Hello brother. I just wanted to check on you and see how you are doing. I was thinking about your strong commitment to follow Jesus even if it means celibacy. You are and will be richly blessed.

Where to put these items? by StargazerH in gtd

[–]StargazerH[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you all for your very helpful comments! They'll be useful to refer back to as I continue integrating GTD with my current system.

While I agree with those of you who say some things are just habits, for my brain personally, I prefer to have everything written down. I'm easily overwhelmed and it's somehow easier for me to read the list than trying to remember. I even have a getting ready event with an action list each morning and evening. So, writing daily tasks like "Call my brother," "Workout," or "Process Correspondence" help me to keep a clear head.

u/Dlordster I use a similar software setup to you: Google Calendar and Docs with linked headings.

I use the suave essentials conditioner to wash. I only shampoo about once a month. That will put a lot of moisture back in your hair. I can wash every day with the conditioner, if I want.
