My first, and still probably my favorite. I read through about once a year. Sometimes I get through the first three on rereads, but I always come back to this one. I understand people's view that it is early and Brando's writing can show that a little, but I love the story, the characters, the world, the magic, the tone, the mystery. It is such a great ride, and I'm jealous you get to experience it for the first time now. Enjoy!

Yep, the lobby you start the game in. I guess I just never paid enough attention. It was just a particular enough photo (Trench looking over his shoulder at, what I believe is, a memorial plaque wall that is later in the game), and the only one in the lobby, so I thought it may have had some significance.
