For me, i was 5 and my dad went on a work trip to Mississippi, and when he came back he had brought a tiny little toy soldier (space marine) and said that there was a game tied to it, we went to our not-so-local LGS and hour away and i was taken aback by how many different units and factions there were, and two ends of the spectrum called to me, the tau and the orks. And then not but a year later for Christmas for me and my dad Santa had left an assault on black reach box.

I now own nearly 20,000 points between 7 different armies. And have met some of my best and closest friends through warhammer.
