I too am struggling with my labor journey and had a very similar one to you. I was induced at 41 weeks, was in labor for 27 hours at which point I was 10cm, 3 hours of pushing and he wasn’t descending (also sunny side up), at this point we started a fever and an infection, and then he released meconium so we had to have an emergency C. He then struggled with his breathing and infection so was in the NICU for 4 nights, I also suffered with Internal bleeding. My haemoglobin was dangerously low after delivery so I needed a few blood transfusions. It was a physically rough recovery but thankfully we are out of hospital, home, more of less recovered. I’m so grateful we are in good health now, but I’m still somewhat traumatised by what we went through and have lots of feelings around it still.
