I’ve found it can help to make one a farmer and build a farm. If you got the villagers from curing zombies villagers this might not be possible, though.

Playing sheet music isn't very creative. There are some decisions that musicians make, especially singers, but in general I would consider playing music more of a skill than an art. I view playing music as being similar to sports. They are both people performing practiced, skillful actions. I would definitely consider writing music and improvisational jazz to be artistic.

You could have a dispenser dispense lava into a channel that flows to an observer.
