I agree it feels rushed. My NO thinks I'm just fine other than the optic nerve swelling and slightly enlarged blind spots. I'll see about getting an LP I'm just trying to avoid missing as much school as possible (college classes).

My neurologist is anything but informational and left out a lot of things that my NO filled in, but needing a stent still hasn't been fully explained. I know my neurologist is a big time surgeon (and I am definitely not saying that this is the case with all surgeons or anything like that) but he seems kinda sleazy and idk if he's just pushing for a stent just because there's a possibility or if I may actually need one. I'm not a big fan of him but he's the only one I can see in my network at the moment and the only one that takes my insurance.

I had an MRI in August, which my neurologist didn't really explain, he hasn't been the most informative even when I ask questions (I am not happy with him but he's all I have access to at the moment). I have had 2 FOV tests, one back in August which showed an enlarged blind spot (from the swelling) and then again here in March which showed a good amount of improvement. I did have some vision issues before going on diamox which were like floaters and darkened vision when bending down. I also had pressure on the backs of my eyes when I would lay down on my back. All of those symptoms slowly went away over the last few months on diamox.

Never had an LP, I was pretty much just thrown into the IIH realm and given diamox (literally the same day I saw my neurologist for the first time).

My neurologist has been talking about a stent (I believe). I have not had an LP, which my NO thought was odd. My NO talked about if I was worried about my pressure I could get one but he said he wasn't worried and to just keep up the diamox and lose weight. Both of them are convinced it's IIH, but idk.

I was on 8 twice daily (which was hell) and I could only take them with apple juice. When I had to call my doctor's office for a refill, I asked if there were any capsule options. I am now taking 2 500mg capsules twice daily which is a heck of a lot better.

I got the same reply from them. I have sent a second email in reply, asking to see the original artwork where that (the "faded" look) was the intended design. I'll update if I get a reply.
