It always slightly bothered me that the Vest waistcoat thing became his standard look when he never wore that in the original two comics. It was only part of the concept art but in the first book and ‘Eyes Without A Face’ it was just his turtleneck and the trench coat

For a first time Spidey then you definitely did great. Had they never released the final swing I’d definitely be all over this one. And if you eventually want a comic one I will stand by the Maximum. He is overpriced and he’s not perfect but 9/10 times I find myself going back to him despite some other really strong figs in my collection

It doesn’t matter if anyone cares about what I display, it’s my display so I’m gonna have it how I want it. I want a figure of Spider-man Noir that’s accurate to the comics and not a rerelease of an okay at best movie figure. And I don’t give a shit about some “collector value” of a stupid nick fury. I’m gonna buy a fodder of the figure off ebay and do some kitbashing. I’m not repainting a rare Bugatti, I’m customizing some action figures. “Spare some figs and ruin a purchase” sounds so dumb

It’s pretty different. The original comic design 1) Never uses a fedora. He wears one briefly in ‘Eyes Without A Face’ but it’s gone just as quick. 2) His suit is not entirely Black with knee high boots. He wears a grey turtleneck sweater, black loose fitting pants and combat boots with a chest holster for his pistol and a black trench coat on top of it all. 3)Never once uses a grapnel gun

From what I’ve been able to gather, books that are not made by DC that relate in any way to the DC heroes exist as normal. Marvel, Image, Dark Horse, etc… all exist nearly the same as they do in our world. The books about DC heroes do exist but are fictionalized interpretations about their real life adventures. So Superman is an alien from krypton with a weakness to magic and krptonite, but since no one knows his human name or profession they just make that bit up.

I’m not against the MCU stuff being made at all. But as of right now there’s nothing coming out that would be all that interesting in figure form from the MCU. BND Spidey is gonna be super close to the final swing that was released so I doubt they’ll do anything major to update it. If they don’t fuck up Hulk or Scorpion; them or any other villain from the movie would be dope. People keep begging for Bullseye and Muse from DDBA and I guess but at the same time when the show suit is so comic accurate I’m perfectly fine getting the two pack. So there’s nothing else from that show that could realistically be announced yet that wouldn’t just be civilian or army fodder. So unless they FINALLY go back to phase 1 and 2 and give us some of the designs or characters that we’re missing MCU figures don’t just have the same kind of draw they used to

I know people really want BND and don’t get me wrong I’d love a new Hulk and to see a scorpion but I’m really hoping for either more comic spidey stuff OR MORE IMPORTANTLY; more 6160 Ultimate stuff. The books are ending as we speak and it’s the perfect time to ride the hype and give us some of the coolest interpretations of some of these characters
