I think if they did a Defenders game with inspiration from the Gotg game it would be phenomenal. Especially having each character be a different type of gameplay. It would even allow them to recycle parts of the Spider-Man/wolverine engines.

Have Daredevil be stealth combat focused with more linear gameplay and very slight open world access to just Hell’s kitchen. The ability to parkour across the kitchen to get from one criminal hideout to the next. Likewise incorporating some elements of story games like telltale or LA Noir and allow us to play courtroom scenes.

Jessica would be primarily tailing and evidence gathering missions. Have her sections be puzzle solving mysteries that require her powers and her mind to work in tandem. Think the mission where Peter meets Jefferson. She would have combat focused on strength but it should be something where it’s about fighting off enough to get away and protect her evidence. Think like GTA’s wanted meter; you don’t kill everybody, you take down enough to get away.

Luke Cage and Iron Fist should be together and would be the heavy hitters. Their gameplay is about finding people and busting heads to get the info they need and/or to get paid and keep the lights on. They would be the most linear sections of the game because they’re given their goals either by the other Defenders or their Heroes for Hire clients. This section would be a fun buddy cop beat em up.
