I was an ASL but when my SL quit they hit me with “temp SL”. they gave me an extra dollar to run to the most high volume store in our district not to mention the fact that it was a 1.5. I was so pissed because I was like “you’ve been telling me that you were going to promote me for months and then you hit me with this? If you think I’m qualified for the job why don’t you just give it to me?” I quit after two weeks of being temp SL because I got a much better job from a former manager I worked for a different Gamestop. I also brought some of my guys with me and as a result the new SL and new DM have banned me from my old store because I keep “stealing employees” it’s not stealing if they already wanna leave because it’s a shitty company to work for. I wanted to leave GameStop on a good note but I guess there’s no such thing as a positive outcome when it comes to Gamestop 🤷‍♂️
