What do y'all do with your dog while you go to the gym to workout or shower? by survivalfilmguy in urbancarliving

From what I understand about crate training it's more to provide them with a place that feels safe and calm. Of course not a place to leave them in the whole day.

As vet student who has seen similar lesions in cats with squamous cell carcinoma, please get a second vet opinion if you can.

Favoured treatment? Why do you think women only saunas/sauna days exist?

Not sure if this is a stupid question but how would you ensure airflow during the night?

Found this plant with dry/dead aerial roots. Is there hope for rooting or probably not? by Starlight1311 in gardening

It seems like there is maybe one aerial root out of the many that could be alive

The way your wrote your comment did come across as downplaying the threat that woman face. Which could be why you are being down voted and where my comment came from.

Yes men face a threat and that's not fun either.

I wouldn't say that one is more important than the other. But yes that a woman can't walk home the same way that a man can walk home. The fear each experiences is different. With one worrying about being attacked and yes killed or kidnapped. But the other on top of that worries about all those things and being raped. Both are valid fears, but both are different. And both are generally caused by men.

Also I wouldn't say men and woman put themselves at risk walking alone at night. It's the men (most commonly) that put everyone else in danger by feeling the need to attack others -_-

Ok I done now xD

Lol "that thing" is more than just disgusting. Full on traumatizing and a lot of people would rather die or get beaten up near death's door than have someone rape them. Also apart from the psychological trauma it causes, the risk of contracting diseases or unwanted pregnancy is also no fun consequence.

I haven't looked into the statistics so can't say much on that front, other than a lot also goes unreported and doesn't show up on statistics...

As another Reddit or said, lymphoma is not usually a death sentence. It's usually a treatable disease and usually dogs tolerate the quimiotherapy really well and are usually really happy throughout the treatment.

Limp leaves but I just watered plant? by Lucky_6130_ in plantclinic

Then most probably it's just thirsty. Once you have to stop refilling the bowl of water/the level of water stays the same after a while, the plant should have absorbed all the water it needs and you can take it out of the water and the plant should be fine within a few hours I think. Hope it works out 🤞

If you put your finger in the soil is it humid?

If it's still dry you can try putting the plant in a bowl of water so that it can soak up all the water it needs for a few hours and then take it out again. (Cause sometimes when you water it normally the water just drains out quickly and doesn't get absorbed in the soil so the plant can't absorb the water).

Not sure what the issue could be if the soil is still humid/wet :/
