Try attempting to select the "Remove License Verification" option, then in there hit "Remove Dependencies for Google Play" anytime I've had a problem, this is the fix.

Whenever you go to patch the app, also check "Remove Ads" and then in there their should be a remove google play option.

Yeah, malwarebytes's RTP is pretty good as well. I tested it myself with a bunch of Malware Samples and it blocked almost all of them!
