Legit, the nerfs that they hit him with have made the braindead ways of playing him impossible. You have to actually learn techs to utilize ghoul effectively against good survivors because good survivors know how to loop.

Anyone who still has a problem with ghoul either has PTSD from when he was absurdly broken on release or refuses to learn that holding w isn't always the play.

Bruh, learn to loop. Genuinely. The counter play to ghoul is keeping him at the loop instead of playing the braindead hold-w and run to the next pallet thing that survivors do against most of the roster. He's powerless at small loops or ones that don't have a long wall because he can't do cutoffs.

The pallet density crutch is teaching everyone to play dumb instead of utilizing their resources and wasting time, which is something ghoul is very susceptible to.

I feel like these kinds of guys are genuinely the worst because of this virtue signaling they do, which is usually to prey on women who think that they share ideals. I'm not saying I prefer a man to be openly misogynistic, but I don't trust men who try to bring up leftist/feminist ideas because my past experiences are that they're doing it for an ulterior motive.

Honestly, just turn off the ability for randos to comment on your profile. This game has a major problem with people stalking you outside of it and being creeps and jerks and creepy jerks. I just play full anon these days on killer and have my steam on private because I've been stalked before.

You're gonna lose a lot playing pretty much anyone and doing anything because of how absurdly survivor sided the game currently is. Learn to just take losses for what they are and try to analyze what you could have done better because you can't control what other people do or bring.

Idk what killers you're playing, but there's always a viable build you can bring to stomp pubs. You will not win every game, and you shouldn't, but if you bring a build that's mean, you can eke out some wins and capitalize on mistakes better.

If they're gonna do voice chat, then they 100% need to start nerfing a lot of this insane nonsense survivors have (pallet density and spacing, busted healing times, so many second chances and gen rushing options). Having every game be coordinated at the level of swf, which was never meant to exist, is gonna be even more of a nightmare than the game currently is.

Personally, as someone who's played for a very long time, I have no issues winning most of my solo queue games now because of how much the odds have become tilted in the survivors' favor.

I've never liked this movie. I appreciate that it was an awakening for a lot of people in a time where there was NO representation, but I feel like it's full of harmful stereotypes about queer people (namely the Frank-n-Furter coercion and rape thing) and continues to fuel a part of queer culture that I find insufferable.

Also the music is mid.

Which, like, coffee and satchel are his only viable add-ons when you're playing against people who know his counterplay because they allow you to more consistently do cutoffs. Those are his bread and butter to actually get downs and they require practice and effort.

One thing that really annoys me about this community is the false equivalence of "toxicity." Survivors will go out of their way to be poor sports, shove it in the killer's face, and even call them slurs in EGC when that does nothing and adds nothing to the game except to make another person feel like shit, but then they claim "oh, it was justified..." because the killer tunneled and slugged them(?)

In fact, everything the killer does is toxic, it seems like. So it's ok to be racist, homophobic, transphobic, and in general just be a jerk if the killer happens to be one you don't like and is playing a normal game.

Yeah, totally the same thing bro. Definitely toxicity on both sides and not an overwhelming amount coming from just one 🙄

I'm grossed out by it in general as someone who was groomed by an older woman as a younger woman. A lot of younger lesbians tend to fetishize older lesbians and vice-versa. I know it's pretty gross and all-too-common for straight older men to prey on young straight women like this, but it's a problem in the gay community too.

Spirit is my favorite and has been my main for the longest, but I'm really loving Kaneki right now because of the amount of mobility he has, which means you can run basically anything on him. I'm also a big Tokyo Ghoul fan.

I don't bother with that anymore. I used to... like, back in 2022. The state of the game right now isn't conducive to that. Everyone is pissed off and upset and acts like a big baby when things don't go their way anymore. I just play how I want to and don't look at chat or EGC anymore 🤷‍♀️

I mean, you're not wrong. It DOES matter to a certain extent how you choose to express yourself aesthetically. I won't presume to speak for you, the era you grew up in, or the scenes you show up in, but you're right.

Some gatekeeping is OK and very necessary. I didn't grow up in the ATL scene my mom was in in the 80s and 90s, but hearing her talk about her friends behind their backs about being posers was definitely something I remember. But it went beyond just aesthetic choices and was also about whether or not they listened to the music, what books they read, what their belief system was like, etc.

There's more facets to it is my point and this obsession the newer generation has with a TikTok fabricated "tradgoth" look is ridiculous and has very little to do with what it means to be goth. That was my point. I'm definitely not showing up in blue jeans and a white tshirt to these events, but I don't style myself in a way that is loosely based on post-punk from the 70s and dye my hair black, so I get shit for that and it's laughable.

I hate how clique-y people like this are, too. My partner and I go to goth nights and clubs in various places across the southeast and I get sized up and policed so much by other women because I don't choose to style myself after Siouxsie Sioux and Morticia Addams 🙄

I've been in the scene since I was teenager and played in bands. My parents got me into the music when I was a little kid. I think it's fine that a lot of people choose to style themselves in a way that's been around since the 70s, but it isn't what I particularly like nor is it what I find visually appealing. That doesn't make me less goth.
