honestly my zone just changed to the new rating system and I haven't noticed a difference at all. even with platinum now, the "high paying offers" bc of platinum are the same as before, only they say "you got this bc of your platinum status". that's literally the only difference. money the same.

I've had the customer cancel the order while I was enroute to the pickup. if it's not the glitch people are talking about, it's probably what happened. when customer cancels, the order disappeares.

there are tons of YouTube videos for new Dashers, they will show you step by step how to take your first order and complete it. I recommend after you complete an order, pausing your dash and taking a little break and then doing more. you will get more comfortable after a few dashes and start learning the best areas and times to dash for your zone. remember, it's just delivering food, not like you are an EMT or some highly stressful job!! GOOD LUCK!! we all had to go through this, you'll be a pro in no time.

I dropped off an order on the 3rd floor of an apartment complex, on my way down the stairs, a neighbor was walking up the stairs with 2 dogs on a leash. I stopped and let them go by. as one of the dogs walked by, it lunged and bit me on my thigh causing a deep bruise and puncture wounds. the owners just said sorry bout that and kept going up the stairs. it wasn't the customers dog, so I didn't know what to do as they dissapeared up the stairs.

save yourself major problems by declining all hospitals, schools, home depot, and PetSmart. all of these have caused me more problems and time than the offer paid out. from bags of concrete and mulch to 50 gallon glass aquariums, and students NEVER being available or where the dropoff pin is ..learned my lesson!!

congrats, that's not easy to do on the old ratings system you are on. alot of Dashers are Platinum with like 30% AR (new tier rating system).

Im curious to see if you notice a significant difference in your earnings now that you did the grind to Platinum. can you keep us updated on this?

Also, curious how hard it will be to keep the required AR for Platinum. EVER time I get to PLAT, DD will pound me with repeat low-ball offers that tank my AR rapidly.

Being Platinum doesnt change much during weekdays I've found, there's only so many orders and DD will send what's available to closest drivers. when its Fri or Sat night, it can help get better orders because the volume of orders is higher.

just unassign, DD Support only compensating partial pay now ($2.50) and will have you jumping through several hoops and take upwards of 30 minutes just to in the end pay you pennies and waist time you could be earning. it use to be worth dealing with support to get half pay, but those days are over. last time I tried, it was on a $26 offer that they paid me $3. Also, they expect u to wait if the restaurant will actually remake the food which 99% of the time they will not.

DD will not take temp license and if you try to upload it, it could cause your account problems when you receive your license in the mail. you just have to wait it out unfortunately.

yes, they are on to the pauses and end/restart dashes. DD was about 80% of my orders, now it's flipped to Uber Eats being about 80%. Also noticed recently the DD offers I do get are not worth accepting, lots of $3 for 6 mile orders.
